Juve show Molinaro faith
Friday 28 November, 2008
Juventus have handed defender Cristian Molinaro a contract extension to keep him in Turin until 2013.

The unheralded stopper, who can be used as a left-back or a centre-back, has become an important figure for the Old Lady and has started 10 games this season.

The Bianconeri are keen to keep Molinaro at the club for the foreseeable future and have extended his current deal.

Molinaro has signed on the dotted line to commit himself to the Turin giants until 2013.

The 25-year-old started his career at Salernitana before signing for Juve in 2005.

After being initially loaned out to Siena, where he made his Serie A debut, Molinaro was called back to base in the summer of 2007 and made 30 appearances last term.

Because we should just let his contract expire and lose money on him?

You guys are geniuses.
I am ready to pay real money, to get rid of him!!!
We ve wasted a lot of money already, a few more cents wouldnt hurt us, because thats what we can get for him.
No other sane team would pay anything to have such a crippled "player".

Molinaro is here to stay as a starter, "an important part of our team",
this clearly demonstrates our plans for the future, tiny stadium,, tiny coach, tiny players, all we have to wait, is for our champions to retire, to fulfill our destiny...

Man this sucks...

Not because I particurarly mind (extension or, not, he is here, and will stay), but because this totally ruins for the Aprils fools joke I had planned. Knowing lots of Juventini, and some of them being fiercely intense "hatahs" of Molinaro ala Cronios, it would have been the perfect gag to say Moli Moli has gotten 6 years contract extension :D

The stadium is totally justified though.
