Lazio reject Inter's bid for Ledesma
Lazio have turned down a player-plus-cash bid for Argentinian midfielder Cristian Ledesma, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Ledesma is the subject of much transfer speculation with Juventus and Fiorentina also on his trail.
The 27-year-old is now desperate to leave the Biancocelesti after being frozen out of the first team.
He is due to take the club to court later this month in a bid to rescind his existing contract.
Lazio are trying to prevent a repeat of the Goran Pandev scenario and cash in on Ledesma while they still can in January.
According to La Gazzetta, Inter's technical director Marco Branca presented Lotito with a bid of between €5m and €6m plus Rene Krhin, the promising Slovenian midfielder.
Branca apparently offered the same for Pandev when he was still in the capital, but just as in that case, Lotito has rejected the bid.
Inter are also having problems negotiating the transfer of Lazio left-back Aleksandar Kolarov.
Lotito is apparently only prepared to sell the Serbia international at the end of the season, but Inter hold out hope of pushing a deal through at the last minute of the transfer window.

I didn't have high expectations for him because I knew he was average from his history in Serie A, but I did think he'd do better than Molinaro. Now I'm not so sure.
Grosso is worse defensively and not even that good going forward, so he's just another garbage player as far as I'm concerned. Can't mark, can't really tackle, can't put in consistently good crosses... what is he good for? Nada.
Sooner we get rid of that cheater, the better.

Who's worse? I've been more impressed with Caceres than Grosso. Have to say that out of the backline he's been consistently the worst player -- at least earlier in the season Canna and Legro had some good games (now they're just crap, too) and Caceres has had a couple man of the match performances.
Maybe Melo has been worse than Grosso, but then again his mistakes are more highlighted because he's in the center of the pitch.
Whatever the case, Grosso, Legro, Melo and Amauri have been our worst players this season. Canna is starting to creep his way in there as well.
