I think cricket is alright. I have friends who play in leagues down the Peninsula. I have to get down there one of these days, as it's still somewhat mystical to me for how it gets played out.

A friend of mine has even connected with a number of other Pakistanis in SF who run the Shalimar restaurant, and they do things like give him the key to the place so he can show himself in the back whenever he wants to catch key cricket matches on their satellite dish. Pretty cool. It made me wish I had a network here like that for Juve games.

(Like all those CL matches ESPN will never show here in the US because some bumf*ck EPL team is on instead. :angry

granted, but slumping from 200 odd for 2 to less that 250 all out is pretty ridiculous. Not trying to steal any credit away from your boys who played very very well but to be humiliaated like that by an imo inferior team is pretty hard to take.

Not looking forward to the India test matches to be honest

We are in no way inferior. Especially not in this test series. We deserved to win all three tests, imo. Unlucky that we got a draw in the 2nd.

not sure I'm going to agree with you there. We dominated the first test then inexcusably failed to finish the job off on the final day. Second test was about a fair result though you did have the upper hand - third test we were pitiful.

Congratulations anyway but I'm fairly confident we could whitewash you if you came over here

not really though there's one lad of asian background at my work who joined recently.. was getting well into the ashes series though - we'd converted him to an england fan by the end

I loved the way the paki's took flintoff out of the game that was real genius!!

Inzi a machine at home a mouse in Australia!! Pakis first win after 5 series losses if iam right ... Nice!!!

All i can say is we distroyed New Zealand over there!!! Without our two machines Mcgrath and Warne!! oh we are the NO.1...

well wat happened in Pakistan!! now dont tell me they are a super power of world Cricket!! The thing is England defeated us yes but the aussies got complancent and where too arrogant on the field!! England made the miricle a reality but now it has all come crashing down so very fast !! Now how will england respond mmmmm......

First of all the bowling has been brillioant the seam bowling is top class!! Spinner Wheeler bin Ashley Giles is not good enough!! 5 wickets in series from spinners is not going to win u a series!!

Batting have got to learn to keep there head instead of trying to hit fours and sixes every second ball!! They must learn to adapt and bat on the situation not keep being aggresssive wen u have the game in hand!! England must learn or they will continue too loose series after series!! Sure it worked in Ashes that aggressive nature but it bit them in the bum in first test in pakistan and england batting pretty much lost there head after that!! except Bell and Collingwood!!
Vaughn is not good enough to captain let alone play for england average in mid 30's is just not good enough for top order batsman!!
now ill let u rebutle!! lol

austrilia beat probably the worst team in weakest cricket team around other than bngaldesh ie west indies.and that too at home.
so thats not judge of a GREAT team.
let australia come up against some major force.then we'd see.
imo they're on the way down.
