come on mate! His one of those characters confident enough to back his own judgment and uphold the game's laws in full, whatever the cost. If he is wrong well people make mistakes but all this cheating has gone on for long enough from the 70's to the 90's (Afridi doing the dance in the middle of the pitch not long ago soo innocent yes??) you support those actions? Oh please, this umpire has been controversial since his first match. Just because Australia hasn't been at the end of it doesn't make him a just umpire. He clearly has something against S Asian teams. I didn't believe at first, but after reading this article on BBC I'm starting to wonder. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/cricket/england/5271108.stm

Pakistan felt that they were innocent, which is exactly why they chose to protest, instead of accepting a 5 run penalty and therefore accepting that they did tamper with the ball.

Well that bring said no i dont think he is a racist alot of umpires have gone for years of just letting things slide you must remember Hair was a fast bowler who played grade cricket for for years in Sydney. He has seen all the tricks. He knows a "tampered ball" when he sees one. Anyway i dont know if he is right or wrong but even if he is right he is right he cannot win am i right? because this decsion will ruin his career for ever, his name will be foreva b mud on the indian sub continent they will b sending him death threats and so on...
Dosent matter you dont play cricket because your inocent when you are clearly caught behind yet not given out would you call that cheating cause the batsman wont walk and umpire didnt think it was out even tho its clear as crystel it happens?? So for protest that it was not given out you would not go on you would protest cause that umpire is a cheat, racist. Anyway back to main point its only 5 fuking runs for crying out loud! Pakistan as a cricketing nation have only dented there own already scared history for years... for the good of the game and people they should have swallowed it and worried about it after the game ,the umpires begged them to play not for them but for the ppl who pay money to watch there nation play. Pakistan have only them self to blame they are not covering themselves in glory actually as sore losers!
