Crespo is a Chelsea player, not Inter.

And why he shouldn´t praise him, he did nothing wrong to us, are you telling me you wouldn´t want him?

crespo has scored 6 goals in 13 games for inter so far(in serie a), that's not a good record for a "goalscorer"

Crespo:

1993-1996 River Plate 64 apps, 23 goals
1996-2000 Parma 116 apps, 62 goals
2000-2002 Lazio 54 apps, 39 goals
2002-2003 Inter 18 apps, 7 goals
2003-2004 Chelsea 19 apps, 10 goals
2004-2005 Milan 29 apps, 11 goals
2005-2006 Chelsea 30 apps, 10 goals
2006- Inter 13 apps, 7 goals

Argentina NT 59 apps, 32 goals

Goal ratio: 0,5 goals per games

Trezeguet:

1993-1995 Platense 5 apps, 0 goals
1995-2000 Monaco 93 apps, 52 goals
2000- Juventus 164 apps, 105 goals

France NT 68 apps, 34 goals

Goal ratio: 0,6 goals per game

Yep! You´re right, Juventus710, I´ve done some research, and Trezeguet is apparently better goal-machine. These statistics are without domestic cup games and without Champions League games.

P.S. What is your name? I don´t like calling you juventus710.:D

the fact that crespo is good its obvious.... but since when we start praising inter players? i remember the triade making fun of the inter stuff, and i miss those days... crespo is good nobody doubts it, but he is playing at inter .. and at least if we are going to praise some players, lets praise some players we reealy need.. and the priority is central defenders.. and how would palladino and bojinov take this praise?

The same thing we do, we want Crespo and we praise him, I would never praise a member of Inter staff cause they are pathetic bastards, but some of their players deserve praise...

why should we want him when our priority is defenders and midfielders.. we have del piero trezeguet bojinov and palladino up front wich do not offer us any concern.. if we have a complete squad ok think of crespo.. but we dont have a complete squad and only up front we are complete

Mark I have been impressed. My approach exactly~!:pint: :D :p

As a side note - Trezeguet played quite a lot of those matches as a substitute. I actually heard commentators saying Trezeguet's strike ratio was nearly a goal in a game when computed to 90mins per match when he was on 20-30 caps or so. That was almost Gerrard Muller rate IMO. He truly is goal scorer extraodinaire and even Crespo, just like Klose, is a notch behind in this department.

We didn´t have time to pick the best Board we could get and we are the only ones who changed the whole board, considering that, they are just fine for me...

Jun-hide, thanks, I always think you have to argument your opinion.

One potential tricky part about Crespo and Trez is that Crespo played for more big clubs and that affected his scoring attributes... (I mean considering that he constantly changed his team-mates and environment he did pretty well, Trezeguet is not much better)

No I agree. You have adjust certain other aspects because as you have mentioned the environment within which these two players operate isnt the same. I mean one can hardly argue that Ali Daei (who I reckon is a great player), has arguably the greatest goal-scoring ratio in the entire history of national A matches, is better than Crespo because the statistic tell him so. Heck, even a scrub like Oguro Masashi (He is from Gamba so I have certain bias against him though :D) scored bunches of goals with likes of North Korea, Yemen et al to propel him into fame.

Just to point out though, I think Crespo first season with Inter, was actually one of the best season he ever enjoyed despite scoring only 7 goals in 18 league matches. He scored bunches in CL, and led them CL semi finals (Vieri couldnt score in that tournament for some reasons). And in a well balanced South American qualifiers, you don't get teams like Cyprus to score 3-4goals every now and then.
