OMFG, I desperately need a quality beer now. I actually don't like Bombay Pale Ale too much, but I could really drink a Ceske Böhmer or New York Lager...

I dunno, but it's quite popular in the Copenhagen area. You can buy their most popular beers in regular supermarkets as well.

EDIT: You mean popularity-wise or quality-wise?

In an hour or so I will be attending my first beer tasting evening. I am contributing with these beauties

    Left to right
    - Haand Bryggeriet Dubbel dose, a double IPA with ABV 9,0%
    - Rio Reserva brewed at De Struise in Ost Vleteren in collaboration with Rio Grande Brewery. Brewed in 2008, aged until 2012 in oak barrels from Kentucky. Afterwards it was bottle aged at the brewery. The beer is basically a Belgian quadruple with ABV ast 11%
    - Elliot Brew also from De Struise brewed with the help of the legendary Mikkeller is an Imperial IPA with ABV at 9%
    - Of course I had to show off with a Westvleteren XII from 2013. A Trappiste with ABV at 12,8%, according to many it is the best beer in the world

The major supermarkets always do big deals on beer at this time of year, noticed the crafts were 4 for £5, so next week I'll have to buy a load of random ones and give feedback.

@JCK, you like them that bit stronger?

I don't really care about ABV but it happened that these special ones were strong. Usually the ones I buy vary from 4.5% to 9%.

Anyway the evening was great, we had lots of fun and the beers were awesome. The Rio Reserva is something special that I won't be able to drink again any time soon. I've had some nice stouts as well and some really special unfiltered beer from Germany.
