We will most definitely win this championship, no one can compare with the mighty Juve, our star players will fear no one, we will dominate the league by wining both Inter and Milan 3-0,our determination has reached critical levels, we will finish the championship race at may, we will brake this year's Inter record. We will net more than 100 points.
We have the best coach and the best players in the world (all thanx to Secco)
Whoever believe otherwise is not a real (100%, tm, r, certified) Juventino and will have a problem with the likes of Lion+francesco, so watch it!
We will win the championship hands down, end of discussion!!

FORZA JUVE!!!

PS Zlatan,Vieira,Emo,Canna and Thuram cannot be compared with the likes of Iaquinta,Tiago,Almiron,Andrade and Boumsong, Iaquinta is a world class champion FFS, he costed more than Thuram and Canna put together, this is the best Juve i ve seen in the last 20 years!

Well I'm glad that Mr. "we are hopeless ,we will lose all games, inter the best ever, I need to slash my wrists since I am so pessimistic" Cronios decided to show up!!

Unless we make additions to this squad , i will be pleasantly surprised if we finish in the top 4. With this squad as it is , not a chance in hell. Venom, I hope you were kidding when you said Iaquinta is a better goal getter than Zlatan as thats just a joke statement.

Most over here tend to think that the real task here is for this group to gel. IMO I think we need one more CB, and one more AM as a luxury. Anything more is just pulling an "Inter".

Gel? That means we have world class talents that have come into the squad. Gelling is Inter, gelling is Chelsea, gelling is not Iaquinta or Tiago. They should be able to gel quite well, my problem is that they are not good enough as Tiago would not get into Inter, Milan and Roma's midfield while Iaquinta is Iaquinta, moving to Juventus has not suddenly transformed him into class

Huh? How does that even make sense? So what you are saying that in order for a squad to gel and integrate with each other in perfect harmony, they have to be superstars? I didn't see that happen with the Galacticos, while worked perfectly at Mastella.

Anyways what I am trying to say is that we currently have more than 8 new players in the squad, being able to cooperate and understand each other on and off the pitch is more important than acquisitions.

Maybe its too early for that comparasion, there's about two months in front of us and who knows what will happen...
To be honest, what bothers me are refs and what they are going to be like to Juve.

    :agree:
I'm not questioning the mentioned players ability, or lack of. But sometimes a player just can't adjust to life in another country...I for example love Italia & the UK but I'm not so arrogant as to assume everyone else will adjust to their lifestyles just because I like them...

We do not have what it takes im afraid to win the scudetto

Almiron is largely unproven at thise level and how he gels with tiago is key. Will all our new players come in and be on top form right away? It's unlikely i think. Even pavel struggled in his first season. I worry about Almiron.

Tiago has got technique and should bring some passing and reliability to the midfield, also the Andrade purchase should help him settle quicker. He is not, though, a game changer or someone who can really impose himself on a game. I dont think players of his quality could drag us to the scudetto.

Andrade is a good signing, but ill believe our defence when i see it because we need to get him a partner. Inter, Ac, Roma and Fiorentina and maybe Lazio all have good squads with good depth and we will find it hard to compete. Our only hope is in the players we had before. Trez, Dp, Nedved (or his replacement), Camo and Buffon. If those players excelled this season and hit top form I would be confident of a CL spot. But who knows? All our opinions could change after the pre-season friendlies. Ranieri especially is a risky option. Is he a scudetto winning manager??

The main positive about our current sqaud, depsite the fact we are not as class as the 2005 team, is we have more depth. One player injured and we were busted. Now we have options in every department (not defence yet).

I am just putting things in context. If you say our only problem is gelling , then it means you have a basis to suceed but imo we do not. So gelling is of secondary importance to me. When you bring up the topic of gelling then it means they have so called superstars and the only reason they will not suceed is they do not gel. Real madrid is a classic example, once they gelled, they did win. As for Valencia, there were no big changes to their sides when they won the league twice with rafa, he did not exactly add 5 or 6 superstars so the question of gelling did not come up, they already had a solid foundation. We do not have a solid foundation at all and the new arrivals are not big or good enough for us to be talking about gelling. Of this side we have an aging Dp and nedved, Trez, Buffon and Camoranesi as the foudation of our serieA winning sides. We have lost Cannavaro, Thuram, Vieira, Emerson, Zambrotta and Zlatan. That is a huge loss when it comes to backbone. The only thing we have going for us is that we are not going ot be distracted by Europe. Ranieri, is an unknown quantity too, its not like we just got a top notch manager either. He was brilliant in his first spell at Valencia, erratic at Chelsea and awful in his second spell at Valencia. He likes to tinkle with tactics and formation which is not always the best when you are dealing with a new team. So winning the scudetto is a big ask. Not to mention that our board seems to be full of idiots, so my level of optimism aint high

I brought up Valencia because their star team that won the Liga wasn’t at all star strutted at all, what they had working for them is a perfectly cohesive mix of youth and experience. The point is not whether there are 6 or 20 additions, the point is whether the whole group gels up or not, they could do that in a week or 4 years. Valencia arrived to that balance and had a great team. So why is it not plausible that if we arrive to that perfect balance in a fairly short time, we could have a winning team?

The age factor is really important, I wouldn’t be worried about Camo, Buffon, and Trez, but on the other hand Neddy and DP’s age is a concern. That’s why I said that we need another AM as a luxury (given that Neddy decides to play). As for the players we lost, I still stand by my first post, Thuram, Zlatan, Emerson, and Vieira are nearly replaced by our current roster. We have great versatility on the RB and LB. It’s just that CB spot Canna left vacant!

You know what I think? I think managers are overrated. Their tactics contributes no more than 20% to a teams success. His people's skill and group morale management is far more important IMO.

I think Zambro is replaced actually perhaps 70-80% of him is covered already. Canna on the other hand we have Boum.

Very true, talent-wise I think we are almost covered. But how fast the gel is the important question. Its good to see that their summer camp is gonna start in two days, around a month and half of working together should help achieve that.
boum replace canna when hes on form? dude thats one of the most retarted things ive ever heard.

For the last time, Valencia, problem was not gelling. You said the concensus on here was that the only problem we have is gelling which means we have a solid basis according to you. Who are the replacements for Emerson, Vieira and zlatan? Versatility in rb and lb? Who are these versatile players? Grygera and Salihamidic are unproven in serieA. Zebina and Chiellini are not good full backs in my view. Anyways lets wait and see
