I think it might've been better to give it another week or so, they still have some pretty elevated hospitalization numbers (though looks like it's starting to fall).

Many of the hospitalizations are incidental.

Few weeks ago Tim Spector said that a big percentage of Omicron hospitalizations are incidental. I have zero idea how they are measuring hospitalizations. I take all the info about hospitalizations and deaths with a pinch of salt right now because when you have a vast majority of the population infected with Covid-19 you'll have a vast majority of people in hospitals testing positive.

Perhaps the most accurate measurement of the severity is the need for ventilation in ICUs.

So now they lowered the Genesen/recovered status from 6 to 3 months, whilst in swiss they extend it to 12 lol.

Clearly, our talkshow healthcare minister didn't phone in to the RKI real quick to have them change their mind from one minute to antother

The plan to lift isolation rules is for 24th March. Until then 95% + will be infected with Omicron.

Working from home is prolly the most effective measure against Covid. Hopefully companies don't rush their employees back to the office.
