Get Goretzka for 12M and Dahoud for 11M :beppe:
I'm sure a ton of clubs are aware that their contracts are inspiring. As for that release clause in Dahoud's contract, I'm not sure it's valid for clubs outside of Italy. Does it even exist, or is it merely another journalistic invention?

Dude, it's an Inter way of doing things to buy turds like Jao Mario or Kondogbia for 50 mln each. Don't tell me Tolisso is better than them. He might be but the hype is similar for Tolisso now as it was for Inter duo when they bought them.
This is the way the market is now. We paid Higuain's 90 million release clause. Pjanic had a low release clause, and we took advantage of it. We dismantled an awesome midfield, and it's not gonna be cheap to rebuild it. The 15-20 million range will get you guys like Sturaro, barely good enough players for this current Juve.

Why would Gladbach insert a clause for italian clubs only :shifty:

As for Goretzka, just because he has an expiring contract doesent mean half of Europe is after him. Im not sure a bigger club than Juve is even interested in him

I googled Dahoud and found out that his agent said in August "he will leave only for a sum thats acceptable for Borussia M"

They bought Jao Mario this summer and Kondo the summer before so those are hardly outdated transfers. My point is we shouldn't go Inter mode and pay whatever we are asked to pay. Tolisso doesn't seem like a world beater to me. You would be surprised how many players are available for 50 mln. Even Pjanic resigned from some percentage of his release clause so that the transfer to Juve goes easier and you are saying it shouldn't be an issue for us to pay 50mln for freaking Tolisso whom wasn't even playing for France during the Euros.

Give me names and alternatives. Goretzka and Dahoud are both very promising. I'd add Kessie and Bayoko to the list as well. Who else do you have in mind?

Doubt you've even been watching both play.

Kondogbia has become an excellent player at DM for them since the last 5-6 games while Mario has been consistently good.

If you are not informed about something, there's no need to exaggerate just to make a point.

I'll give you two. We sold Vidal for 40 mln and the rumored price for Naingollan is around 50 mln figure. You will tell me those are exceptions. But those are exceptions for us, fans. Who would say we would sell Vidal for 40mln and yet we did. While Vidal has had double figures for us for 3 seasons straight and played in CL final with us. Now compare Tolisso to him. 50 mln is still 50 mln. You don't throw it around like it's nothing.

I didn't watch all of Inter games you mentioned. I watched last half an hour of Inter game against Chievo and they were poor. I think Jao Mario was even subbed off when they had to chase the score. To read that Kondogbia has been excellent is really interesting, I will check his notes later. You say Jao Mario has been good. Khedira has also been good for us, Rincon so far has also played good when given the chance and guess what, we paid 8 mln combined for them. We Paid 30 mln for PJANIC, one of the best players of Seria A since couple years.

Again, you don't throw 50 million on a player like Tolisso just like that. I'm not saying he's not going to develop into a player worth such amount but it's a huge risk. On one hand people praise Marotta for not getting fucked by other clubs while buying and on the other want him to spend 50 mln on unproven players because it may come good.

I dint talk about their prices. I am disputing their claim about being utter turds which they haven't been. Kondogbia's performances has elevated even more since Gagliardini has been brought in who cost them €30M and looking more and more impressive by the day.

Now I am not suggesting we should pay €50M but the market is such that we can hardly compare or dispute the prices. Rich clubs are getting richer so much so that it hardly means anything talking about a player's value.

Tolisso is a talented player. I don't know if the club will pay €50M for him but he's certainly somebody who could be of great use to us. Gagliardini could've been useful to us but we passed on him.

Allow me to clarify. I'd like you to give me names of players that are available on the market. We undersold Vidal and it was an oversight on our part. Just because we were stupid, doesn't mean other teams are gonna "gift" us their players.

The 4 you mentioned. If someone else is after Tolisso and the price goes up we should look for other targets. The 2 Germans especially as they have expring contracts. In fact, i dont even think id prefer Tolisso over either of the 2

The price is a big factor when evaluating players. We were full of praise for Pogba because we took him for free. He exceeded our expectations. Now we sold him for 100mln and people are saying he's playing shit even though he might be one of best performing CMs in BPL.

Gagliardini showed nothing this season to be worth 25 million. He is another typical Interesque purchase. Of course he might come good but there is at least 10 flops for every Verratti.

I think we are past the point where we need to move to other targets if the price isn't what we expected. Beppe has shown that we are willing to pay for the players we really want.

40M is OK but if other clubs get involved and the price goes up to 60M even? Id rather not overpay then, especially if there are other players who are just as talented

How do you want me to write who's available? I'm not a director of sport so that football agents are calling me saying their clients are available. You want me to give you names on the basis of what papers are saying? They are creating news out of their asses. Maybe we undersold or maybe Vidal insisted to accept Bayern's offer? Don't you think he could have said to Marotta that he only paid 11m to Leverkusen after which Vidal gave us so much on the field that we can let him go now for 4x the price we paid?

I'm sure we can buy more proven central midfielder for 50 mln. I'm also sure it wouldn't be a player we are linked to by the papers.
