40mil or not - it would be great to have a proper muscle in MF again. Still, it's crazy that we got Vidal for like 11mil and he wasn't a noname. Has already been the best Bundesliga player back then and now semi-proven talents go for 40mil
It was 2011, prices weren't as crazy as they are now. And he only had a year left on his contract.

Inter are interested :klin:

As if he'd go to that loser club with no CL football :howler:
@Hydde He is between a 5 and a 6, but once we develop him he'll become an 8.
Inter are interested in every players we pursue, it's their "strategy".

Shaqiri, Gabigol, Gagliardini, Luiz Gustavo, Pjaca, Gabriel Jesus, Guarin, etc.

Then let's get interested in some random Boateng od Sissoko. So many of them this days.

Juve could make a new attempt to sign Tolisso in January by offering €8m to sign him on loan with obligation to buy at €28m. [Romeo Agresti]

Lyon are not Atalanta to accept a loan + obligation deal for one of their best players in the middle of the season
Obviously they have objectives and plans for their on going season. Whether they end up accepting it or not, won't change the fact that is still a very good offer for this player.

:baus: :ratcafe: Gr8 idea. Let them have him, and we can remain stuck with guys like Sturaro and Hernanes.

If someone like Gagliardini (a player I appreciate) went for 25 million, then we have to accept that a guy like Tolisso (CL experience in addition to a tough negotiator in Aulas) won't be leaving for a bargain. We fucked up an awesome midfield. We managed to buy guys like Pogba and Vidal on our terms. It's going to be extremely difficult, if not impossible to do that now. Everyone is aware of our limitations in midfield, and our desperation for quality additions/acquisitions in that area of the pitch.

I'm not in panic mode. How much do you expect to pay for quality in midfield, given our limitations/desperation? Vidal and Pogba are deals that are highly unlikely to repeat themselves.
Dude, it's an Inter way of doing things to buy turds like Jao Mario or Kondogbia for 50 mln each. Don't tell me Tolisso is better than them. He might be but the hype is similar for Tolisso now as it was for Inter duo when they bought them.
