IMO he would be an upgrade on Khedira, maybe not immediately, but i think he has better qualities in general and will eventually turn out to be a better player. Hes got amazing physical abilities, he scores goals, and is decent technically. I really do think hes a very good player that still can get better.

Yep, looks like hes the Lemina replacement, which im a little sad about. Mario had the potential to become a great player here which for whatever reason wont happen. Considering Asa is barely a CM these days, I dont think Tolisso can be called his replacement. That will probably be Spinazzola, versatile guy that can play anywhere on the left side and can be used as a Giaccherini type CM too I guess

How many cms do we need?
I could agree on Tolisso being and up if one of Mandragora-Rincon and Lemina leave.
But still we just bought Betancour and Rincon.
What do we do? sell Mandragora and Lemina. Leaving Pjanic-Marchisio-Khedira-Tolissò + Sturaro and Betancour??
Unless we switch back to a 3 man midfield many won't be happy.
And it would be silly to spend 40m on Tolissò to field Pjanic+ another CM

In reality we would have Marchisio, Khedira, Pjanic, Tolisso and Rincon for the 2 man midfield, and them 5 + Sturaro for the 3 man midfield. Lemina is gone imo, Mandragora never plays and will be loaned out I think, same for Rodrigo
