I admit Zlatan is not on his form,I admit Del piero is doing great job and he is a super sub,But I don't agree with subbing Zlatan,not because he doesn't deserve that,but because he won't accept that,he is not classy personal like DP,I said this 100 times,but he is the future star of the club,if we bench him now,we will lose him..
Not true, Zlatan hasnt been useless at all. In fact he is one of our most important players especially in Capellos tactics, If you havent noticed the team is pretty much built around him. The only thing about his game that has been lacking is the goals, and he has to improve on that.
Del Piero will never be able to do the work Zlatan does in every match, Del Piero isnt a target player nor is he as creative, strong, fast and as good of a passer as Zlatan.
He scores goals though and his freekicks are very effective of late. TBH i would rather see Del Piero play when Trez is off form because Trez on the other hand isnt very useful when he doesnt score, Zlatan is too good and important for the team to be benched. I bet you find that laughable huh. So sad then. I dont even know why i try to have a discussion with you, Zlatan less useful then the ball boys, yea thats a realistic view of it all.
I bet you Del Piero and Zlatan starts against Ascoli.

Zlatan is NOT a better passer than Del Piero and he's not exceedingly creative either. I will admit that he is crucial to Capello's tactics because of his strength and ability to hold up the ball but that is no reason to keep him in the team. Instead of starting Zlatan because he suits our long ball play how about we just take a different tactical approach and play to Del Piero's strengths. Get the ball to DP's feet as often as possible instead of looking for Zlatan as a target player. It could work but the problem is that Capello isn't flexible enough in his tactics and will therefore continue to play Ibrahimovic.
