If we had some "helping" luck and Nedved scored that chance, it could be different second half.

All our players gave their best, especially IL CAPITANO.

Great game, and it is good that Camo "throw" his nerves on this game so he can be off-loaded for the ligue games :)

We'll be just fine without the Copa. We have been without it all these years.

@ "CAPITANO"

Del Piero is almost single-handedly running the Juventus machine, now more than ever...so don't talk shit like he can't play for 90 mins bla bla bla....
I think you may have misunderstood what he meant. Alen got it right below.

One by one, these statements are wrong because :

1. Del Piero can play 90 minutes
2. Del Piero can influence the whole team.

But if we put it in one sentence then you're right i'm afraid. We can't expect him to play 90 minutes and do all the work in attack during these 90 minutes. Alex is working like a horse out there. He's our everything. Our striker, our attacking midfielder, our creative central midfielder, our winger.
He gives his all and some of the fools in our team do nothing at all but wait for Del Piero to perform some miracle.
Help him for Christ sake. Look at him trying and dying on the field and at least try to do the same. If you don't have the talent then at least fight and don't give up.
This goes mostly for Salihamidzic and Palladino. I can only hope Camo will be back for good and Nedved will be available till the end of the season just so i won't have to watch Brazzo and Palladino on the wings.

I don't know if we deserved to win, but we conceded a stupid penalty, and goal because of Biri's error. If these two didn't happen, I mean giving them these 2 free opportunities, everything would have been different, we could even win this game, leave qualifying, WIN!
    Was the penalty deserved????

Btw, I like the formation you posted.

Salihamidzic if memory serves, but he was in a difficult position. The shooter was no more than 2m away and he'd need one hell of a reaction time to get out of the way.
But he shouldn't have had his hands up in the air in the first place.

Thats what I said Del Piero is running our attack, but he can't do it for 90 mins every game, he totally destroyed inter in the first half and in the second half he didn't have as much of a impact like the first half, that 50 meter run he did in the first half he looked like the Del Piero we all want to see

All but one of the goals we have scored this year (2008) Ale has been involved, without him we can't create nothing, but depending on one player who is 33 is not a good sign for the rest of the season if we want top 4, we need our other players to step up and give Ale support

I have never said or every will say a bad word about Del Piero, he's been with us through the best of time and through the worst of times, Forza Ale sempre bianconero

Itis really sad and pathetic that a team like juve is solely dependent on DP

any way the mach was not bad the lads gave their best but I'm still pissed off not because we exited the coppa but because we lost to inter and that is for me not excusable.

    Q. why is balotelli playing at 17 when pato was denied to play at that age?

I think we can all agree that Del Piero has the ability to take the team on his shoulders and will them to victory, and has on more than a few occasions.

However, we can also agree that a team like Juventus should NOT be reliant on the consistant elite play of a 34 year old striker, regardless how awesome that striker is.

The Trezeguet - Del Piero connection (along with some supporting cast) are the only reason this team is in CL contention and that's not right.

I've never understood why folk try to protect their face on the pitch.
Oddly enough the way our genes are constructed the most likely reaction to being chased by a lion is to run away, not contemplate the various alternative actions. Just the same when he saw a ball fast approaching he threw his arms up, not having the time to revise that decision and put them back down before it was too late.

Come on Martin look at his hand, it's not like the ball going to drop from the heaven straight on his head, look where is he hand and where is his face, he raised it more than necessary, it was a stupid reflexion not to protect his face, but to stop the ball "To Cheat"..
