The Coppa is our CL this season and if we get past Empoli it's Inter that we're playing. A clean sheet is a must. :smoke:

I guess we're out of scudetto race after tonight's match but we're still 99% certain of a CL spot.

So, the coppa it is then. Lets try to win this shit.

Empoli should be well aware that they stand no chances against Inter in the next round and they also have a relegation battle to fight.
We should win this.

it is our CL, but we continue to treat it like the Carling Cup...we must put out a strong lineup, but i dont think it will happen :(

question is will Ranieri throw the kitchen sink for some reason i believe he wont.
same here

i hope we see something like this

--------------------------Gigi------------------

----brazzo(zebina)------Grygera----Legro-----chiellini-

-------------nocerino------zanetti-------Almiron---------

-----------Iaquinta----------Trezi----------palladino------

just like Tiago is getting the chances to play while having to players covering him, Almiron should get a go.

Neddy and Alex to get a deserved rest, while i want to see Grygera in the center just so we don't have to play Molinaro who should be punished for his display.

I won't care much about the display we just need to progress.

We won't see the 4-3-3. Ranieri didn't even want to use it when we were down at haltime yesterday, even when the brightest move would have been to bring on Iaquinta. Instead we languished with the straight 4-4-2 until he put on all forwards.

Why the straight 4-4-2? Why do we always have to use that disgusting formation? We already know we will languish using them.

hey, that was my first idea, and even i didn't like it. lol. Give me some time to finalize my post son........

Without cammo we really can't afford to play a 4-4-2. We don't have enough creativity.

all we need is a 1-0 win to move on. If we can't do that at home against empoli we don't deserve to be in this tournament. I hope giovinco doesn't put on another show.

Well i dont think he has a choice. Our only playmaker in the team is neddy and i don't think he should start. So i think palladino will start and i see him playing in a more advanced role than the midfield role.

I think we could see marchionni on the right with palla on the left. Will be interesting to see who plays in the center of midfield.
