If he feels good sure, let him play, but if theres even some slight discomfort, this competition is not worth the risk. For me it goes like summer cups < supercoppa < Coppa <<< Serie A <<< CL.

If our 2nd stringers win it - great, but I dont see the need to involve too many starters, theres enough games already until the next break
How on earth do you expect players like Dougie C to gain form and match fitness? In do or die CL matches? In tough away matches in Serie A?

This is exactly the type of match you want Dougie C to play in as he tries to return to fitness and form. If he suffers an injury relapse here, he’s likely to suffer it regardless of competition. Hopefully the coaching staff isn’t forcing players back early from injury, regardless of competition.
