I hate this stupid title font that looks like Casper the Ghost, although appropriate for some of our signings. Can't we do anything right anymore?

How does he go from being a very good regular for Villa to basically a non-player? We can't keep being "unlucky" like Arthur twice, the medical staff must take account for these things being missed, or ignored. Or did we just get unlucky with a new injury? Is this more of a personal issue?
It's a personal issue because personally he's Brazilian

In tonight’s Coppa Italia match with Cagliari, Thiago Motta could look to experiment with his starting 11. #Locatelli could find himself at CB paired with Kalulu and McKennie will slot himself in at left back (@SkySport )

I'm really excited about this signing, brilliant player, surprised that city actually didn't buy him back. Brilliant deal, yes sad to see iling go but Douglas Luiz is a massive upgrade to our midfield already

Welcome Simon Colinet the new Pintus! And I'm not making that up.

Iz juz classic Badass voodoo jinx

Tuz will have to live with this for eternity, unfortunately.

Sure glad that 25m went to sign 4th goalie and not a fullback

LOL no way Loca starts at CB, right? Probably got no positive response but i did post with the way team has underperformed, try Loca as a back. Maybe doesn't go well but so shorthanded at CB and Loca the most defensive mid I have seen in some time, worth the try. Gatti will get worn out playing as a combo CB/FW all the time.

Tbh I see locatelli playing in defence are means to play from defence more effectively, he is our best passer of the ball and has improved alot defensively, not saying it's the answer but it could in the short term help

re locatelli as cb: many times he's been our deepest player since the allegri days in possession, it won't be a completely new role for him. corners and his positioning while defending will be interesting though. piccoli (cagliari cf, his name means small lol) is 190 tall, i bet nicola will try to exploit it. probably gatti to the rescue if he can

interesting setup, we'll see how it works in practice

Yep, Gatti should be super sub for Vlahovic. He is the second best striker on our team. I’m not even joking.

I think he is missing something to be a real defender but he would probably play the Bonucci role.
McK as Cambiasso - I dont know if I like that one - I mean he mainly plays on the right and is known to be a player who run into the box and as a LB he wont have too much of these chances.

After that McKennie type of shot, and considering all the times he goes forward with dribbling, I wont be totally surprised..

Of course I hope we win in every game we play, but just saying with our minuscule squad, a reduction in our fixture list with a minimal financial penalty, would be a blessing.
