Maybe it was when we were in serie B? We won the first two rounds, the third round we played 3-3 against Napoli and lost on the penalty shootout

You're right. Just checked it. That was 2006-07 season.

So this squad is actually capable of such a score and performance after all, good to know, yes it was only Cagliari but apparently it’s the minnows that we’ve been struggling the most against, minimum expectation here was to advance, doing it convincingly like this should serve as an added boost to our confidence.

Now let’s just hope we can finally string a few wins together and build from this.
