Any suggestion as to how strong a team Milan are likely to play?

I know it won't be a strong team, because Milan don't have that option, but will they try to play their best team?

Only seen Allegri speaking about how many CBs they have missing and that Pazzini will start.

Do you want infraction?
Does it hurt?

Buffon
Licht-Barzagli-Bonbon-Peluso
Vidal-Marrone-Pogba
Isla-Matri-Giovinco

BOOM!

Let's try the 433...352 is so last year.

That sorta worries me. Am I the only one that feels that way?

I'd play DC surely. I'm all for Pazzini starting cause it means at least one of Milan's only two dangerous forwards (binho and El Shawarma) won't start.

I'd be playing a four man defence, because I think Juve have looked distinctly uncomfortable playing against Milan since the move to 3-5-2.

Allegri may not get much right, but he seems to understand how to control Juve's play when they use 3-5-2. Milan also get plenty of counter attacks and tend to look pretty dangerous.

That's in stark contrast to the pasting Juve gave Milan at the start of last season when playing 4-3-3 and the way Juve dominated the 'gol di Muntari' game after changing from 3-5-2 to 4-3-3.

That sorta worries me. Am I the only one that feels that way?
As a Pazzini fan, I can always see why people would be concerned about him playing.

He's certainly more likely to be a threat than the likes of Robinho or Bojan.

Well, it doesn't make sense to play a 352 without Chiellilni at the back solidifying the defense or without Asamoah on the left and the stability he offers on the left wing.

I feel our team flow is much better (less predictable) in the 433. As far as Pazzini, his movement in the box is what worries me, again leading me to believe 4 at the back is necessary, that and containing a hot SES.

It has actually been used this year. Which means it isn't "so last year". :D
M plz

It was used much more than last year. Simple math tells us this.

I think Juve were able to move the ball faster in 4-3-3. That made it easier to move teams about and create space.

With the 3-5-2, Juve are slower and it's easier for teams to shuffle around without losing their shape too much.

I think it would be fairly straightforward to come up with plans to stop El Shaarawy with either system.

Ok. So, with that said...which formation would you prefer and why?

I see many claim we have players built for the 352 and that's how our mercato turned out. But, equally, we have the players just as (if not more IMO) equipped to boss around other teams with the 433.

And, as we all know, me being a huge fan of the 433 is because it is of my opinion that in the left both Giovinco and Vucinic are more dangerous. And being our two strongest attackers, it makes little sense to me why we shouldn't accommodate to their styles given our struggles for goals FROM our strikers.

I don't like three at the back in general. Never have.

That said, Juve do it pretty well and have the players to make it work.

I understand the use of 3-5-2 most of the time due to it allowing Juve to play a slower, more controlled, more efficient game.

However, that doesn't mean Juve shouldn't pull out the 4-3-3 every now and then when it seems the most appropriate system for a particular game.
