Hey fvcktard! we pulverized you in the 1st half, and then our players decided to go easy on your sorry asses, and went back to their arrogant, minimum effort style.
You see, it comes with the territory. When you win so so much, for so so many years, it's bound to get boring and repetitive after a while. Don't you agree?
Subs aren't supposed to be made just for sake of them, I feel like I should point that out. I'd have made one CM change for Khedira to rest, but what else was there once Alex Sandro came on at LM? Allegri was fearful for the game, and rightly so, it was a mess.
I know, but we needed to change something dont you think? Khedira looked tired, should have put Rincon instead of him in the 80th minute or so. And Pjaca for Mandzu at the dying moments just to kill some time.
Agree. Max is hesitating too much. Two wins with early goals and wonderful first half but he looks clueless with the next step in games. He's reading during the game used to be his stronger skill so hopefully once he feels confortable with this system he figure out how to handle the games
That can happen when playing a formation like this one, today we should have scored 4-5 goals ffs..... I love what Allegri is doing he is simply adjusting the formation and tactics, temping the form of the team... Last season we started to early 'thanks' to the bad start and we ran out of steam against BM... He learned his lesson.
Rincon for Khedira was an obvious sub to make. The rest is whatever, not a big deal.
Even though the 2nd half was poor, I thought the players should have sealed it themselves. Mandzukic at least should have scored then his friend Pjaca could have played.
Not putting games away is becoming a signature aspect of this team. Eventually we'll pay, and I really hope it won't be in the UCL, ala Bayern Munchen game.
45 of the best football we've played all season, followed by 45 mins of frustration and arrogance. We still have a mental block hanging over us, and it is not helped when Allegri makes stupid decisions in terms of substitutions and our attacking players miss easy chances and constantly fuck up counter attacks. We will struggle massively against Napoli (in the cup and in the league) if we play with this same approach.
