Max Allegri concedes Juventus were lulled into a false sense of security by the 3-0 first leg result against Inter.

The Bianconeri won 3-0 in Turin, but were beaten at San Siro by the same scoreline and eventually squeezed through to the Coppa Italia Final on penalties.

“It wasn’t easy to reach the Final, as we had such a packed fixture list. First of all I must compliment the lads for what they are doing,” the Coach told Rai Sport.

“Of course tonight for 70 minutes we didn’t play at all. Inter ran hard and put pressure on us, from that point on we started to move well and created some chances to avoid extra time. After that the lads did well to win on penalties and achieve our objective.

“The first goal was probably a bit of a foul, but having said that we should’ve dealt with it better and not handed the chance to Inter.

“The second goal was a mistaken challenge, the third a penalty on a 50 metre pass. We have to do better.

“I did expect Inter to cause us problems and I said many times in the Press conference that we weren’t qualified. It would’ve been better to start at 0-0, because having a 3-0 lead took something away from us in terms of concentration.

“It’s happened to me before, my Milan won the first leg 3-0 with Arsenal, then we were 4-0 down in London. It’s a dangerous situation.

“This is another part of the growth process, as when you have young players and go into games that seem easy and aren’t, you learn to do better. Inter deserve credit and we deserve criticism.

“Inter were very intense and we didn’t keep the right distances. I don’t think we managed two consecutive passes in the first half and so we were struggling in possession as well as off. Clearly I didn’t prepare them properly for the game.

“Daniele Rugani has great quality and will one day be a first choice player for Juventus. He needs to gain experience, above all when playing three at the back, as he’s not accustomed to it. He needs to relax, as he has improved a great deal since he arrived.

“Part of the learning process is putting in some performances that aren’t great.”

Allegri was asked if he was going to tweet his usual 'Fiuuu’ – Italian for 'phew.’

“Do I say 'Phew’ after this? A huge phew! A log phewm!”

Roberto Mancini spoke to the media following the Coppa Italia semi-final, after his silence from the weekend.

Mancini expressed the character of his team in their performance over Juventus. The nerazzurri played into extra-time to a 3-0 scoreline but eventually fell to defeat in a penalty shootout.

The Inter tactician expressed his thoughts from the match and what’s to come ahead for his side, fighting for a spot in European competition next season:

“It was a good match. I am very happy and I congratulate the squad. I feel sorry for them as they deserve to be in the final. Inter is top of the table and we’re criticized, or losses and is still criticized. We are trying to do what we can and are disappointed to have lost a lot of points. I hope this match gives us awareness and strength to reach third place. I expect after this defeat that the team will feel like a quality side again. We are a team that is looking to build on things and go through difficult times, but this is football.

Sunday there will be an important match against Palermo, then we have two consecutive home games. We have to play these matches to win.”

I don't like when players don't react to shit like that, especially when they still get fucking carded anyway.

Nice to give our fringe players some extra minutes there for their stats columns, 120 in total.

Carizzo looked like the worst penalty keeper I've even seen, luckily for us.
:agree;
Also it shows that sturaro hernanes and asa in this condition should never stsrt together. We need one of Pogba, Claudio or Sami in there at all times. We need another truly quality mid.
:agree:
Well he isn't half as bad as Leo was at the start. :D I think he can get to Leo's level. Although he is more of a Barzagli type.
Bonucci would fuck up and still come to the next game mentally pumped. His confidence helped him go to the next level. Rugani misses that bit.

Lessons learned from that awful game.

1) We should always start at least one of our starting midfielders.
2) Rugani needs time (Allegri has been right managing his game time).
3) Lemina might have a future here showed glimpses of his potential again.
4) We need to buy a world class midfielder to rotate with Khedira/Pogba/Marchisio.
No lessons should be learned but not thinking its over before its over...
We could have won if we play with determination but our team simply didnt play!

As for Lemina - He is good at defending but he has 0 attacking abilities!
WC midfielder?! :agree:

Mancini can suck a cock, something he obviously loves to do. A miracle happened to him, three days ago when we fucked them in our own stadium he lost his voice (yeah right), three days later he is screaming on the side of the pitch and comes out of his butthole to give a statement. I really hate this prick.

What an awesome day of fixtures.

Arsenal, Tottenham, ManCity lose and Leicester still top of Premier League.

Bayern lose.

Juve get destroyed and still progress at the expense of broken Interisti hearts everywhere.

:weee:
