Conte is a Juve legend, he had a never say die attitude and was an integral part of Juve's midfield, when he scored you could tell it meant so much to him.

I'll miss him, hopefully he'll go onto the coaching staff someday.

Very sad year for the hardcore Juventinis. First Lippi, now Conte. Juve is changing.
Thanks "il capitano". We will always remember you!

Dunno why but I think I'll always consider Ferrara a better oath to the Bianconero spirit than Conte. Despite him having an illustrous spell at Napoli while Conte came to us having won nothing.

Captain Conte leaves Juve

Football Italia

Veteran Antonio Conte has left Juventus after he rejected the club’s offer of a new contract.

"I’m leaving a Juventus side which has won many honours but is now about to start a new era," said the 35-year-old.

"I didn’t take the opportunity to renew my agreement with the club because I didn’t think the offer was right.

"Perhaps this is for the best though as a new Coach is on the way who I’m sure will be keen to do very well."

The midfielder was the outfit’s longest serving player after spending 13 years at the Stadio Delle Alpi.

He won 16 trophies in that time and was also made the club captain until he was no longer guaranteed first team football.

Conte, who played for Lecce and Italy on numerous occasions, now has his sights on club management.

"I still haven’t decided whether to retire from the game because I’m a bit confused right now," he added.

"The only thing that I’m sure about is that I want to be a Coach. That will either happen this year or next."

Conte has been such a great and loyal servant to the club. He has scored some very important goals, and always seemed to find a way to lead us to victory as captain. Certainly Antonio recognizes that the time is right for a change. He does not have much left to offer a club like Juve, so it is better that he is not remembered for staying too long. Bravo Capitano, a career well done. We will always love Antonio Conte.

Conte goodbye

(La Presse)
After 13 years of Juventus Antonio Conte says goodbye to his supporters. After so many triumphs he is now in the club’s history and in the hearth of the fans. In an interview he said: “I don’t have programs for the future, I wouldn’t mind become a coach. For the moment I just know the an important date for me: my wedding in September.” He also said: ”I have many good memories, and I want to thank everybody.”
