connection refused (1 Viewer)

does anyone know why this keeps happening, instead of loading up forums homepage I get a white screen with, in black writing, the words 'connection refused'

Does anyone know how/why it happens, or what can be done about it?

I'm getting something like that aswell. I'm surprised i've managed to get on it now.

The forum server is giving us a hardtime again, not your computers fault so stop hitting the poor thing already!

Computer expert got here before me..

The server seems to be on and off. But no reason has been given for this instability, I'm guessing something is being done and they have to restart it from time to time. I assume it will be over soon.

not really, cause originally I thought it was just my connection, not the server that was the problem

strange how it keeps going on and off, though

yesterday it was awful. the site was off for some hours.
and i thought the problem was with my computer like tom.

Yesterday the server was down for 7-8 hours. And I've been told the smaller problems the past few days were also connected to that. But now it's supposed to be fixed.
