Compressing a file! (1 Viewer)

Ok! heres my problem: I have a ordinary cd burner not a dvd burner.....
and i have a file or actually two who is about 800 megabytes but i have only cd`s with 700 megabytes and i really needc to burn the files.
But i don`t know how to compress them so they get smaller so I could burn them..
Anyone with an idea??

Unless you can split them, I dont think its possible to compress that much.

same thing here. 1.2gb avi (i think) file. no idea how to split ir or anything

just use a video editing program to split the film in 2 and bingo.

It is two saperate BIN image files i need to burn....

BIN files I doubt will compress all that much but you can split them with zip or rar.
