I wont continue this further, except say Chiellini wouldnt have been sold AT ALL, he was a STARTER for us when those champion players were here. Your version of things are weird. He wouldnt have been loaned out at all.

I agree with Osman.

Criscito is not good enough, maybe only now but maybe he never will be good enough to play in Juve. As for the others (Chiumiento, Boudianski, Masiello...) they are in the same situation like Criscito. Simple they don't have the character and ability to play in such a big club.

Mirante is a good player, but Buffon is Buffon and we do not need any keeper in 5 (or more...) years. Mirante wasn't born in the right time. :)

But maybe in the next year we will have some good youngsters in our squad and they can prove their worth. Giovinco is a great talent, he absolutely has the place in the team. Marchisio and De Ceglie will be good too, IMO.

I hope in Marchisio and De Ceglie's case we won't have the same argument like we have now and they will prove in Juve.

we should not abandon our young players easily.

Chiellini ‘rejects’ Juventus switch
Monday 6 June, 2005

"It is my desire to stay here," he told Fiorentina.it. "I’ll ask the club to find a way to keep me. Everything should be sorted out by the end of the month.

Chiellini wants Roma - Friday 7 October, 2005

“I really can’t stand for the fact we’ve played eight games between Serie A and the Champions League, yet I haven’t played a single minute of football with a Juve jersey,” slammed the defender.

Chiellini considers future 10,10 2005

"If I realise in the next three months that there isn't space for me at Juve, I'd ask to leave," said Chiellini.
I dont agree.

You are trying to compare two entirely different enviroments.. Chiellini couldnt find playing time in a squad full of recognised champions whilst Criscito having had the coach, board and club all publicaly state that they have full confidence in him, he then entirley f'd up the perfect oppurtunity on his own doing by turning in a series of poor performances..

Thats exactly the problem, young players don't just explode they need time, guidance, and mentors in the team.I dont think we gave him any of those and threw him in the deep end.

The kid has many attributes of a good defender, and i think we should give him another chance.

:agree: totally agree, people forget that criscito is just 20!! The guy is very young and even before he played his first game with juve i said to my friends that he'll flop..He's just too young and playing in that position is never easy (perhaps its the most difficult position in the team), a young striker or middlefielder (spec. wingers and playmakers) can have bad forms and still continue playing in the team (pazzini had a real bad form at the beggining of the season with fiorentina but still the management had faith in him because they know that he's good and he's showing he's worth now). I won't be suprized if criscito became a Class defender in a couple of years......

I am in favor of a comeback to Juve for Criscito, I mean He was given only a few opportunities, and the ones given to him were really hard ones.

I imagined Ranieri being a :gsol: young players expert:gsol: he would introduce Criscito in games against Catania, Reggina, Livorno and the likes, before giving him a big break against the BIG teams.

but no he thought he had an experienced starter, so he throws him to the wolves and is angry when Totti eats him alive.

the boy had to play regular SERIE A football before joining Juve, now he has, let's bring Him, and then we'll se if He is here to stay or to be forgotten.

Even if its not Borriello I doubt we`ll return him.

Kid has some potential but he didn`t show anything so far. There isn`t any reason to bring him back now but we should not sell him.

De Ceglie Hoping For Juve Return

The left back, currently plying his trade with Siena, has enjoyed a good season thus far and his solid performances for the Tuscan side have helped them move away from the relegation zone.

De Ceglie is co-owned by Juventus and Siena but the young left-back is hoping he can do enough from now until the end of the season to warrant a return to the Old Lady.

“I know exactly what I want for my future, I want to go to a club who has faith in me,” De Ceglie told Tuttosport.

“Obviously it all depends on me what happens and not on others, it would be magnificent if Juventus took me back.

“The Bianconeri remain my first choice and it would be a dream to go back to them.”

The stopper is also hoping he can be a part of Pier Lugi Casiraghi’s Italian under-21 side when they travel to Beijing for this summer’s Olympics.

“You have to be good and lucky to be able to go the Olympics, I have been good and fortunate and now I want to take my chances," he said.

“I don’t have an Olympic medal and to conquer one would be an excellent achievement."

I hope De Ceglie returns, he has a solid season with Siena so far, and he wants to come back.
