Suprised with the lack of urgency from Real, they're playing a cautious game, maybe things will change and we might get more room. That said everytime Real get near our box, im shivering, that's how shaky our defence is.

I know it's only 45 minutes, I know Madrid have key players on the bench, I know I'm prone to optimism anyway BUT

This looks really encouraging. Yildiz is a superstar. Di Gregorio has made some great saves. Locatelli has been absolutely everywhere - not just his passing but his positioning is excellent. I also like how he reads the play and directs other players' passes because he knows where he's going to need to receive the ball in 3 passes' time.

Rugani also has slotted right in and made us look significantly more secure. Even Kelly has looked better - it really shows how important it is to have a proper system with well-drilled, hard working players around you. Even the clowns can do a decent job in a good system.

More of the same please, though I'm still too damaged to actually expect it lol

Really good first half I have to say…. Lucky the tempo is slow as fuck that plays into our cards

Decent half.

Kolo Muani has done okay but he has to at least hit the target on that chance.

Yildiz is superb, full of quality, rarely wastes the ball and puts in a shift defensively. That's the best I have seen Di Gregorio play in terms of commanding his area, I'm not sure whether it is because of the players in front of him but he seems to be taking control more.

Locatelli has done an excellent job at finding space and giving an option. Conceicao has done well defensively but needs to be less risky in dangerous areas.

Costa and even Kelly have done well defensively.

Cambiaso is a worry defensively.

The players look knackered though and I think the difference in quality on the benches will go against us.

it's a blessing in disguise you wont have to suffer for 90mins

I actually managing to watch the game on the airplanes super overpriced WiFi service :p:D

First half so far so good! Turk must be exploding, Kenan and Arda doing insane technical moves in same half :D
