Ranieri is definitely not a mediocre coach by all means. Delneri though, should never step onto a football pitch again, if it isn't against a Juventus' opponent.

The best way to pass a judgement on Ranieri is the state of a team at his departure.

Juve - destroyed
Roma - destroyed
Merda - doubly destroyed

That is all.
:lol2:

Juve were fine when Ranieri left.

And Roma and Inter may have been in bad shape when he left them, but no worse than they were at the point he took over.

Hated Ranieri and what he did to the Juve spirit. Yes, Delneri was (and is) a terrible coach, I'm not denying that at all, but I also believe that Ranieri caused some serious harm during his tenure. I've been in arguments regarding this topic before, but most people who oppose my views are people who only look at our standings in the table during his era. You have to look beyond that, and understand what he did to our club culture. He basically turned us into pussies. It was under him that I felt for the first time that: "holy fuck, we're not gonna win trophies again for a very long time". Sure, I felt this under Ferrara, Zac, Delneri as well, but the new (bad) trend did in fact start with Ranieri.

He's like an old woman. Senile as fuck, smiles when he loses, 0 % testosterone. Total loser, who will inevitably drain any top club of its winning mentality.

Yup.

Was totally against hiring him because I knew we wouldn't go anywhere with him.
Ironically, I felt that way with everyone that followed, including Conte. The time I thought we were truly fucked, was when Del Neri came to the helm. 25 years as a coach with one CL qualification to show for it, a qualification that he couldn't even convert. There was no possible way he could've coached a club like Juventus. Much less, when the team and club was in the dock.

I was actually willing to give Delneri a shot, I thought things couldn't go worse than 2009/2010, but I knew that he wouldn't give us any titles. Thought we would keep him till 2012 summer and then sign Capello.

He was giving encouraging comments during pre season and I felt positive about him at first.

But as far as Conte goes, I wasn't totally happy because I expected a proven coach, but I decided to back him 100% as he had been one of my fav. players. I had followed him a bit in Bari and Siena and I knew he had balls and determination. I was completely sold after the first press conferance.. Left me in goosebumps.

Monaco manager Claudio Ranieri threatens to kill his players if they don’t win

"I am angry. Physically we were second best and here is the result. I want to win. We have to win. Otherwise, I am going to kill them," the former AS Roma and Juventus coach, who joined last May, told a news conference on Wednesday.

"The teams we face are more compact than we are. They give 100 percent. Since we do not, it is difficult for us."
