I think Totti is gonna punch him anytime soon!!

But it's not a disastrous choice for Roma, he is not a champion but he can improve the squad, the defense. and the most important he doesn't rely on youngsters, and this will help Roma to avoid amateur mistakes and lose points. IMO Walter Mazzari would've been a better choice.

He wont be sacked because they're not expecting much with their silly mercato. All they're looking for is a bit of stability, which shouldn't be hard to achieve even with a clown such a Ranieri.

If he is not worthy, he would not get that much money, right?

Do you really think CR would be worse than Spaghetti? Roma's fans been protesting half of the last season against club, coach etc..
I guess grass is always greener somewhere else as Roma was so shity last year, 6th?

And Ranieri was soooo bad that we could afford to have 6-7 draws in row and after 2 wins still finish in 2nd place..
And with record braking injuries..

Let me remind you that his problems started just few months before end of season..
As Buffon stated, he had problems with few players only (Trez and DP) and not with the team, cos he did not play them lately, and guess what, Trez dont play now either..

Leave Ranieri alone, he done his job, now is Ciro's, to do better..

Why do you care so much about Ranieri now?

Look, he's just not a good manager, that's all there is to it.

I'm not here to defend Ranieri, far from it, but what you're saying isn't exactly true either.

Hell, yesterday, even Buffon said Ranieri did excellent at Juve last season (or last 2 seasons, I forgot).

Overall, these last 2 seasons were mostly positive, but the relationship with Ranieri (fans, board & players) & our results clearly deteriorated in the last few weeks / months.
So it was clearly time to move on, without question.

That being said, I'm curious to see how he'll do at Roma.
