The thing is I don't think that the board will hint that Ranieri might be leaving, on the contrary they would say that he's staying.

You would now ask why don't they sack him already and my answer is because at this point of the season it's difficult to find someone else to take charge of the team.

Ideally he wouldn't stay, but at the same time I'm none too enthusiastic about Spalletti or Conte being given the job.
I'm no big fan of Spalletti either.... Conte I'm not sure if this is the best timing for such gamble.

The only thing I'm sure of is sacking Ranieri, there is no two about it.

The Jury is still out of Spalletti, he would have a better squad to work with at Juve and has the right attitude towards Football I would love to see him here.

I agree with DelPieroforlife, the only thing I'm certain of is that Ranieri must go.

Its not that he's a terrible coach, he's simply not right for Juventus. He's not a winner, and he's not capable of making the right tactical decisions on the fly.

When a coach is afraid to lose, you end up winning less. To me, three draws in a row is like winning one and losing two, totally unacceptable for a team at this level. A team like Parma? Thats different.

Does Ranieri have the best players at his disposal? Yes and no. When you have a future star like Giovinco on the bench, create issues with new arrivals to the point of their becoming useless (Tiago), overuse guys like Nedved, and make pencilling in marginal players like Molinaro, Marchionni, and Salihamidzic too much of a habit, you're probably not right for a team with expectations this high.

I had a lot of hope Ranieri would live up to his Tinkerman moniker, getting the most out of his players, unearthing talent, and quickly building a team, even better than he did in Chelsea. All we got was predictable, safe play, and praying that one of his aging stars would pull a rabbit out of their hat on a nightly basis. The day they stopped performing magic is the day the team started to fall apart. Perhaps my expectations were too high.

Problem is, who's out there that would be a real improvement?

A big plate of Spalletti with meatballs would be an improvement...
He and Prandelli in my opinion, are the best of the rumored bunch.

Spalletti has at least won a couple trophies, but his teams are very moody. Going from outhouse to penthouse and back too often would be too much of a strain on Juventus.

Prandelli has Juventus pedigree, has turned shit into gold, but he's never really won anything. He could end up being another variation on Ranieri.

I'm kind of hoping a good top coach shakes loose for Juve to pounce on.

Juventino, attack-minded, shrewd operator in transfer acquistions (deserves credit for that as well)...sounds good...but is this the time to gamble with a relatively 'green' Coach?

decisions, decisions

Very true

also true

and dogsarecute ,
regarding to the pools . Amaurismo doesn't want him anymore , he picked Malesani :D
I voted for Melasani (even i don't know anything about him) only cos i did not see any improvement with others

but that is what i also say, even if CR should be replaced, there is no one who will be real upgrade at the moment

he would be much worse

same, we are going in circles..

I said before that i would go only for Rafa, Arsene, Carlo, Jose, maybe I would give Gasperini a shot, but my hopes about him are not so big..

bringing in Gasperini makes the most sense
yes and no..Spalletti and Prandelli trump him in the experience department in regards to CL and handling teams with expectations. But they have been tainted with something close to failure.

One of the biggest factors in Gasperini's favour is his knowledge of the club, so he will know what is expected from this team and what is the timeframe.

but i know why you want Gasperini, his name is the easiest to twist around :D GAS-Perini
