There is a need to defend Ranieri because a lot of nonsense is used to attack the man.

1)Being called having a loser mentality just because he said he is satisfied with a draw. Wenger is also satisfied with his draws so he is a loser too. Someone said"I think we will drop points between now and season's end, but I also believe the others will drop points too". Try to guess who the person is. Maybe Ranieri should start saying he aims to win every match.

2)Blame points conceded due to individual player's mistake on Ranieri. These matches include the draw against Catania and Sampdoria. Blame the players for not putting the ball in the net/Chiellini for missing the ball please.

3)Constant reminder that he has won nothing even though Juventus is the first top club he managed.

1) The "loser mentality" tag is from his decisions during matches which have cost us many, many points.

2) Sometimes those individuals who constantly make errors are some of Ranieri's favorites, so you do the math.

3) Just goes to show your lack of knowledge regarding Ranieri, or perhaps football. Valencia has been a top club for years and Chelsea became a high-roller while Ranieri was in charge of them.

We don't defend him when he makes really stupid substitutions. But surely there is a bias when even he gets the blame for things that he has no control over.

Valencia is not a top club. Benitez said that they were top because Barcelona and RM were in turmoil. When CR took over, the team was already in decline. The last few years explained the situation clearly, and Valencia are never near the top. Chelsea became a top club under CR's tenure. It was at best a CL contender before that.

Umm, there are some people here who defend him no matter how inane his decisions are. He could cost us the match with stupid subs and people would find a way to defend them.

And what a bunch of tosh regarding Valencia. Just because they won the league twice and the UEFA Cup once prior to Ranieri having a second stint there doesn't mean you should degrade the team because he wasn't successful afterwards.

I'm definitely going to post here more often then.

He said it. He said it in front of the camera, right after Lazio-Juve finished.
But you should hear his excuse
He says that what he actually meant was that the refs in China are too strict, they follow the rules and they give a yellow for most of the fouls, so that's why he compared the ref on Lazio-Juve with a Chinese.
This has to be the worst excuse ever
