Well, we technically came from Serie B but "a squad who just came from Serie B" is more suitable for a team like Genoa, unknown players and a poor club, but a team containing the World Cup winners and expensive players and lots of money isnt a Serie B team, I mean in some matches Ranieri's tactics, formation and substitutions SUCKED, and the team won because of the players

Did our defense improve? no, we conceded 2 stupid goals from Milan, and other 2 against Palermo, we still suck at the offside trap, and our marking is awful

Up until about a month ago, I expected him to be ditched regardless of where we finished. I now expect him to stay.
While he obviously has his faults, he is on course to meet the season objective and there is always a lot to be said for stability.
I would be disappointed if we turned down the chance to get a world class coach in, but I basically feel Ranieri has earned the right to have a go at the CL next season.

I think ranieri should stay as a coach if only Lippi accepts to be a manager. I love some games Ranieri produced, but I am not convinced we can show character in the CL games. A lot of people are saying that if we splash some cash on signatures that Ranieri wants we would have squad depth and we can compete - me I am not convinced. We need some life in the game. Cannot always count on Del Piero to save our asses. He can be injured or tired.
Trezeguet is a 50/50% man - sometimes he is MOM, sometimes he is a pawn.
We need brave decisions for the attack and the defence. So I can think we should bet safe with Lippi. Even if things doesn't move that fast as expected, although I believe they would.

well this is just very silly to say...
first CR can not be blamed for our defense playing so bad or better to say individuals, as most of us would agree that apart from Zebina, well debatable and now Cheillini - who also was rusty recently, molinaro, legro and grygera would not even be in our first 11.
And we know how good are those players, what do you really expecting from them? Our defense can't improve more, they are already giving their maximum..Legro plays better than ever, Molinaro is good Grygera ok, but still not good enough..
Do we have anyone better..NO
re creativity problem..Camo thumbs up -even i could mention injuries, suspensions, and Neddy who is "world class" at 36 comon..
DP who after long period pays better than previous seasons..but still falls over when he tries to pass more than 2-3 players as he dont want to pass ball around.

Honestly, when i heard about appointment of Ranieri at Juve i did not think he would survive longer than december, not because he is not capable, but because of quality of our squad.

Well, you can blame all the mistakes on the players or the coach, also you can give the credit for all the winnings to the players or the coach......and you'll be sound reasonable either ways

We all agree that Molinaro sucks, Legro is an OK defender while Chiellini has his ups and downs
So if you're gonna blame the defenders for the mistakes then what's the Coach's job?? if he has flaws in his defense, he should work on them, right??
About Amauri's 2 goals, you can tell me that they're all the defenders' fault as he wasnt marked or even disturbed by anyone, but what about Milan's 2nd goal?
The whole defense line SUCKED at the offside trap, and it's not the first time, so either he trains them better or stops using the offside trap
About the creativity problem, you said it yourself, I believe Camo , Nedved and Alex are no less than WC players, so what does Ranieri has to do with their performance??
I think his improvements are switching Chiellini to CB and playing Camo in the middle, and he did both because he didnt have any other choice, and dont tell me that beating Milan is Ranieri's achievement, Come On, how can you not beat a team missing its whole back-line and its main striker, and playing with 10 men
And Again, I'm not against Ranieri, but beating Milan and Inter shouldn't make us forget about the other problems and mistakes in our team
Well i already answered this, those guys at back can't improve much more.. Did you see first game against Inter in Turin, and how many offside traps we created?
We killed them that way and it was only way to do it as they were much stronger than us..
second highlight - its pure individual fault..first amauri goal is DP early present for joining us. Second goal , well Gygera i think could not do much, but Chiellini also forgot to jump and to block crossing!? I that also CR fault?
Or luck of concentration as Molinaro and Chiellini were previously been hugging our new member of family!?

actually we changed also formation to 4312 in second half and we played brazzo on right side to stop grygera making more faults..

But I will tell you something more important I think vimo also mentioned something similar..
If we can beat all small team but loose against big teams , than i would be very worried, because it means we are not good enough, not only as a team , but also our coach would be crap for sure in that case..
But winning against big teams, and their big players , means we as a team, and with guidance of tactician Ranieri , we can deliver it.
Mind those games such as Napoli, or Parma etc, were we had referee issues, as well as injuries..
DP cant deliver every game and same for Nedved or Camo..
We rely on them as we can't count much on Pala, Tiago, Lampard, Diego etc..
One more thing...
Do you guys remember how everyone bashed Ranieri when he said to papers that he never wanted to get Tiago and that he was thrown into him as Liverpool did not want to sell Sissoko?
Now you know why he wanted Sissoko, but most of you were against him as well.

Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri has admitted that he wants the club to sign Amauri, while he also hints at an exit for Raffaele Palladino
It is common knowledge that the Bianconeri are closing in on the signing of Palermo hitman Amauri, with the only question being when, and not if, the transfer will be completed.
Some people have questioned whether Juventus, as they already possess the best set of strikers in the league, really need Amauri.
Ranieri believes that with the extra Champions League football next term, the squad will require strengthening. The Tinkerman also hinted at the sale of Raffaele Palladino.

Ranieri drives me from loving him to hating him, then back and fourth several games through out this season. IMO, his two main problems so far are talking too much and losing against small teams.
OK, up till now, I think he deserves a second chance. If he talks less then takes pivotal points against small teams then he will be great.
Anyway, if Lippi's back it will make me happier much more than if we get Diego or so..

Thats what i wanted to say. Let's not make up excuses or something. If we want to win the scudetto, you just plain simply need to be better than the others (ALL the others) and if you want the scudetto, you have to be able to win against every team. So far, so good. We managed to win (or at least to be on the same level most of the time) against the big 4 in serie a. That's a big plus to me. If we can keep this pace next season, i'll be very glad. The fact that we lost against so-called smaller teams is not important for me; i didn't expect us to win anything this season and that's what's going to happen, that's why i don't care if we lost like 10 points or so against the small teams.
Everyone who's ever played a football match knows how difficult it is to play against these small teams. You can't really read their game, they mostly just fill their own area with defenders and kick away every ball they can reach, they play hard, they are overmotivated and very often play way beyond their average performances.... you have to consider all this. Again, i don't try to make up excuses. We can't afford to lose to genoa next year, but at this very moment, i'm just glad that we beat milan no matter under what circumstances (10 men, defense line missing - we dominated them, that's what matters for me)
Anyway, as already pointed out; if we lose; blame ranieri, if we win; hail the one who scored. That's a little too easy. I bet if milan scored some last-minute goal and drawed against us, the opinions would be way different here, even though the table position would not have changed much, and we still dominated them.

If we had 4 cannavaros in the back, we surely would have conceded far less goals. but we have to deal with what we have, and as long as we score more goals than we conceide, i'm fine I mean it's not ranieri's job to tell legro he has to be closer to his man, or to tell chiellini to jump up if the ball passes over his head. I think that Ranieri's most serious problem is that he can not keep his players feet on the ground.

look i say let him be our coach for next year see how we and him also goes in the CL. if he does well in CL and serie a im happy for him to stay but if he doesnt i think we should look for another coach.

Claudio Ranieri was delighted with his Juventus side’s attitude in their 3-0 win over Parma last night.
The Old Lady are on the cusp of Champions League qualification after securing three points in their rescheduled Week 31 clash to move 12 points clear of fifth place.
After last weekend’s 3-2 triumph over Milan, Ranieri had feared that complacency may set in against struggling opposition, but the Roman tactician saw his Juve side power past his former club.
“I am satisfied,” he grinned. “It was important to keep wining and today was a good test of the players’ spirit and motivation.
“After the victory against Milan there was the risk that we could be sated, but instead we reacted with great determination.
“We were without Momo Sissoko and Cristiano Zanetti, so it was important to go in front to stop us suffering in a deadlock.
“If you don’t strike early then you get nervous and things get more difficult.
“Credit to the whole squad. The champions have been great, but so have all the lads who are behind them in the pecking order and keep working hard.
“But I want Champions League football to be mathematically certain before I start giving everyone a game.”
Ranieri also heaped praise upon Argentine winger Mauro Camoranesi, whose header against the post allowed David Trezeguet to open the scoring.
“Camoranesi? He gives me the chance to vary the way we play,” the Bianconeri boss explained.
“He is a universal player who has such class and is a godsend for me. He is a winger, but he is willing to sacrifice himself wherever needed for the team."
Raffaele Palladino scored a superb goal in a week that has seen speculation regarding his future if Palermo hitman Amauri arrives in Turin.
“Amauri or Palladino? I have seen so many names in the newspapers and I don’t like to talk about these things,” Ranieri said. “I like Palladino and I believe in him.
“It’s up to him to command his place amongst these champions.”
