Claudio Ranieri has told the Juventus fans to remember where the club was 15 months ago before calling for him to be sacked as Coach.
The Bianconeri have picked up just one point from their last three games, and as a result Ranieri has received some heavy criticism.
Many Juventus fans have called for 'The Tinkerman' to be sacked, and replaced by former Favourite Marcello Lippi. However the Old Lady hierachy has come out in support of Ranieri, with general manager Jean-Claude Blance the most recent to provide some backing.
“When you are in charge of such a big club it is only normal that negative results will cause unhappy grumbling," said Ranieri.
"I have been doing this job for too long to be surprised by what happened.
“The fans will certainly have their own reasons, but I don’t forget where Juventus were 15 months ago. In any case, I accept only constructive criticism. The ones I don’t consider valid or relevant will just be ignored.
“I was pleased with Blanc’s comments,
but I already knew how he viewed the situation, because when we first met the plans were clear. Now we must push and try to achieve those objectives. We cannot let one match wipe out everything we’ve done up until now.”
Ranieri will be looking to turn around this poor form tomorrow evening when Juve travel to the Stadio Ferraris to play Genoa.
