I actually thought playing cammo more centrally would be a good idea. The more he gets the ball the better.
It would have been a good idea IF AND ONLY IF the squad knew Camoranesi would be playing in an advanced role in front of Sissoko, but that's not what we saw tonight. It was the usual bullshit straight 4-4-2 with Palladingo on the wing and Camoranesi getting caught up pitch too much when he needed to stay closer to Sissoko because the latter can't pass. We had gaping holes on the right and left hand side of the pitch, and Sissoko was struggling coping by himself by himself in central midfield.

I'm certain Ranieri instructed us to play flat in midfield and allowed Mauro to move up to attack, a bad move because Sissoko was left all by himself.

Of course Lamptard will come here and defend Ranieri once again. And of course it will be the same old complacent "we're still in good shape" rhetoric that reminds me of those clowns saying all is well before Hurricane Katrina wiped out the entire city of NO.

Eng: Ranieri gives a possibility for Tiago and Iaquinta... The coach of Juventus: "We want to be more
upfront if possible"

Juve has obviously a derby on Sunday against the Florentine , which the manager of Juve Claudio Ranieri could still give an opportunity to the Portuguese Tiago. "In this season he did't play a lot. And Iaquinta? He played a lot? Also Vincenzo played little, disputing just 17 entries, while he palayd only 11....

"We want to go upfront if it's possible, we should continue to improve. I ask my gamblers to give utmost, alone so we can have a winning mentality". In this moment is "upfront" placement in Champions League but with some reinforcements to be competitive in Europe: "The big names cost a lot and ask also 5-6-7m€ in the year (wages), the result would break certain balances. We should aim on the footballers that possess amount of skills to become large gamblers". And for Ranieri between the young of the future there it is also Molinaro, very willing gambler but still a little "awkward & wooden" from the technical point of view. "We chose him because he had done well at Siena. Why the transfer of Balzaretti? In that position besides Molinaro we had also Chiellini and without the European cups we wouldn't been able to hold him. To make him the second of Chiellini would have been an useless surplus". Finally a word on another campanian , Raffaele Palladino: "He is a gambler in a position to express him self better on the left than on the right. Its future is there".

 Don't expect any "big" names guys in the summer mercato, thay all cost to much and ask for big wages...Palla is a WL or midlefielder...Molinaro is our future...
We are so going down... What more can i say...Runieri is fucked up

So if Ranieri plans to use Palladingo on the left, where the fuck is Giovinco going to play in the straight 4-4-2?

Palladingo is still the future there? :howler:

I have a feeling that Palladino will prove you all wrong and do much better when he plays on left side than playing on the right or up front.

you are absolutely right vSnoop. Pala does plays much better on left, but he has been moved around as we had injured or suspended players for quite some time.

Andy, i understand your frustration and in many cases you have a point or two.
But, as you know only management can fire somebody, and also they are the ones who must provide what CR wants, same what we want too - new good players which cost.
But cos of "balance" management will not be able to fulfill this. So it will be hard to happen and CR is doing OK with what he 's got. Yes could be inch or two better as always...
