if you expected first place then you are the one with unrealistic expectations. The objective was always a CL spot, and we are on course. This team has performed much better than alot of you are giving it credit for. We are in third place. Look at the players we are playing with: Legro, Marchionni, Nocerino, Sali, Molinaro. none of these players were expected to be first team players, yet with them we are in third place. look at how much negativity and hostility there is towards us, yet we are still in third.

you people are never satisfied. You hate on Ranieri because he says a few things, doe a few wierd choices in selections (when every coach does that) has his own choice in players he wants (oh noooo god forbid a coach has a say in what he believes will help the club if it is not in accordance with the fans' desires :rndh:)

It's always the same thing here. with Capello, we had the issue of benching DP, and playing Zlatan despite Zlatan playing like shit. We also had the issue of the defensive minded football and the obsession with DM and his poor tactics in the CL. Oh wait so a WC coach made weird decisions as well? no way! fans around here would have you think that Ranieri is the only coach in the world making weird decisions. Or that fan favorite Deschamps also never made any weird decisions. You know, like bringing in Boumsong, benching Bojinov, and making substitutions in the 85th minute. But no see it's ok for coaches like Capello, Lippi(lhis last season) and Deschamps to make weird decisions/ mistakes, but it's not ok with Ranieri despite Ranieri having a much shitter team team than Capello or Lippi, yet ranieri is still on course for a CL spot.

look. every coach has his own way of thinking. do you think guys like Mourinho will be any different? you guy blame Ranieri for not making the best out of Tiago, Criscito, Almiron. well WC mourinho failed to get the best out of Shevchenko, Ballack, Del horno, Crespo, Kezman, Ferriera, Shaun Wright-Phillips and . does that make Mourinho a bad coach? of course not.

Look I am not exactly happy with Ranieri, but I accept that he (like every coach in the world) has his own ideas on what is best and how to achieve them. If Ranieri was in 6th place or 5th place. then yeah I would have said sack him. But we are in 3rd place with a very average squad. once the season is over then we can look at what is the best options. would I love mourinho or Benitez here? ofcourse, but until Ranieri fails to achieve what is expected, I am content.

Benitez is doing worse at Liverpool, Mourinho and Lippi are available and if we have a disastrous season we can count mourinho in.

But Im really disappointed with Ranieri, he's looked terrible the last 3 games with his tactics but I admire his management during our first half of this season.

We need a creative midfielder, NOW! If we dont get one, Im not sure we'll be able to maintain 3rd or 4th place.

I'm sorry, but any person that has watched most matches should realize that we are very lucky to be where we are currently in the league, and our luck might be running out. Ranieri has done some of the most nonsensical things I've ever witnessed a manager do, everything from talking rubbish about our own players to putting us on the pitch without any sort of idea what to do whatsoever. If we combined the luck we have had thus far to tactics that would actually make sense, we would have more points than we do right now. That's entirely easy to see.

The time is coming where we won't be able to rely on Del Piero and Nedved anymore. They have saved Ranieri's worthless ass so many times this season it's not even funny. Without Del Piero, we wouldn't even have a UEFA Cup spot right now. Therefore, Ranieri doesn't deserve his role here.

Wake up, watch some of our matches, and stop defending this guy who is a clueless manager.

i didn't expect first place. i don't think there is any expecting first place. even inter can't expect first place. what i expected was 'playing' for first place. and we had enough players for that.

about who we are playing with, well do you remember that cheillini and nocerino were about to be sold in pre-season and then obviously ruineri didn't have legro in his mind . who did he have in his plans then? criscito? boumsong?(sent on loan) almiron? tiago?(to be sold or sent on loan) and now he gives juve sisucko. he has no idea what he is going to do with the players he has or use the limited money. think what juande ramos did with seville. how much funds did he have? how much does the present arsenal squad cost or villareal?

and as for the champions league place it's 2nd place not 3rd. that's cl qualifying round. job half done. not good enough.

you please tell me, what has ranieri ever done, apart from ruining teams (chelsea and valencia) that impresses you so much.

My point exactly...And even players "complain"...and when that happens, u know that something is wrong or not quite right (morale)...

TREZE:"Technically, we are not good enough at the moment." or "The game today showed we still have a lot of work to do. Dreaming about titles and glory is useless."

BUFFON:"However, games like this (Sampa) show that we're still missing that something extra - but we must continue to look forward."

DEL PIERO:"some players have given more than others”

It's not s good sign, that respected players are saying these things. Other players probably agree with them too! I sometimes wonder if they "got rid" of DD (I know he resigned but it was to do with "issues with the BODs  ), and replaced him with C_Ra because they wanted a puppet.

I know DD drove me daft by (what I saw as) being slow to make subs, and being "over"- cautious, but I'd rather have him than C_Ra now!

yet you want Mourinho? You think Mourinho does not talk smack about his own players? He does talk smack. you don't think Mourinho makes weird decisions? he does that 2 like buying players he doesn't need. I once saw Mourinho play his 4th choice CB (Huth) as a forward. guess that makes him stupid yeah?

actually, it's not that uncommon playing your big and strong CB as a striker (as he can make use of crosses). Other coaches have done it too...

I just thought of something, when we started criticising Rannieri & Secco about our transfer policy in goal.com there were articl "Fans VS Secco & Tinkerman", and same shit happened with "Fans don't want Sissoko...".

So my gues is that we have some member that is reporter from goal and reads our oppinions and public them! Realy, it makes sence.

Who do you think that would be? Or maybe he doesn't posts at all...

The style of Juventus play this year is very different from any Juventus team under Capello and Lippi. We need a new coach next year for the longterm, to bring the old Juve back

Also the players Tinkerman is buying, no Juve manager in the past would have bought! :(

I am not sure, and I will try to check that out, on Winning Eleven former games on PS2 I have seen that Huth has also attacking abilities :)
Maybe the game producers have done it after Mourighno put him as forward :)

How can I argue with you when you think Ranieri has ruined Chelsea? you obviously have no clue what you are talking about here. If you think that Ranieri ruined Chelsea and Valencia, then you don't know what is the purpose of Ranieri here.

Chelsea were a midtable club. Ranieri made them into a CL qualifying club (and a semi-finalist club). He made them a runner up. Oh damn mana club that moves from being a midtable to runner up is ruined. WTF was Ranieri thinking not finishing in last place to confirm Khan's fanasies? damn him!!!

and Ranieri did very well in his first spell at Valencia. He turned them into a CL qualifying team. in his second spell he did not do well. It's not entirely his fault that the team crubmled. Notice how ever since he left Valencia has been heading backwards?

If you still do not understand from that post why Ranieri is here here is the reason: Ranieri is good at building the foundations for a good CL squad from average ones. right now we are an average squad, that has been absent from the CL for 2 seasons. He is now turning us into a a team that is fighting for the CL. Maybe were sleeping under a rock before the season began, but alot of people thought that by the winter break we would be sitting in 6th spot. But we weren't now were we?

Actually, no. Gianluca Vialli was the one who made Chelsea, not Ranieri. Vialli led them to the Quarterfinals on the Blues DEBUT appearance in the Champions League in 2000.

Ranieri gets far too much credit. He did nothing at Chelsea.
