since when are we satisfied with second string role behind Inter?
we did alright rebuilding our team but it stings to see them dominating serie A
we want to sit on our throne as quickly as possible and that's why we are so annoyed by our board and coach
we feel like we are on a stand still
we have lost a year, no improvement
That's why I said we have unrealistic expectations. Rebuilding takes time and some crappy results will always happen. Ferguson took 2 years to rebuild his team to overcome the rise of Chelsea and he had a better squad and more money. We had some old champions and no substitutes. There is also the case of a bad first transfer season.

It sure stings, but many prominent soccer personnel have come out and commented that 5 years are needed. This year, our bench is complete and we can concentrate on quality. We also had some bad luck this season, with Chiellini, Camo and Sissoko out for a significant amount of time and an off-form Del Piero. Until recently, we were doing well. There is progress, but this is forgotten due to the recent bad run.

then why did the board raise such expectations by declaring CL and/or serie A is an objective?
none of us really expected us to win either but they claimed that was the goal over and over again
false hope and now they are getting the kickback
if you are in a rebuilding stage then go for goals you can realistically reach
we will finish third (probably) the same as last year and the football isn't any better
where is the progress in that?

Our board are morons, I tohught that was common knowledge.

There is no progress that why we need to sack Ranieri and use a 'WarChest' to rebuild. Serie A title isn't unrealistic if we sign two great defenders and two great midefielders (Alonso and Diego anyone???)

But you're 100% right, our board said we could, then said its not that bad if we dont load of bollocks

that's the point that people are not willing to accept/understand...IMO we are already very damn close to being a winning team again...we first needed to create a squad, so that now we can creat the team, if you know what I mean..sure there have been mistakes along the way, but I feel that Juve is still on track

Right now, we are far from becoming a competitive team, the percentage of our quality starters hasnt increased for a long time...

With Spalletti as our coach, Lippi pulling the strings, unofficially at start and as a GM later on, a new president and a new transfer director, we could really turn a next page in our history...

it just shows how much lack of experience can be influential.

which is very important for us since in Serie A we would be going against experienced coaches like Ancelotti and Mourinho, and other world class coaches in CL.

This why I feel Conte of Ferrara could be risky. Would not mind them as assistant managers though (Nedved too)

Pep is in his first season of top-flight football coaching: with three major trophies offering.

Pretty damn impressive.
Well wth someone like mesi aprund in the squad...it doesnt matter much which formation u choose... the guy will always score and create havoc in the enemy lines.

No capablemanager witha team like that should end a season empty handed... in fact the only coach who can really fuck up even with that team is the dude who is in my avatar right now.

Yes he is capable of fucking it up even with messi.
