Why are people forgetting that we already had three youngsters on the pitch against Lecce?

Play the youngsters in the Coppa. If they impress, give them a chance in Serie A.

It is a difficult balancing act and I'm not going to criticise Ranieri for not taking unnecessary risks with youngsters in Serie A.
thats why i wouldn't have played tham against lecce.... so we should wait for a coppa game to judge a youngster? why should u wait half year or so when u can see him playing in a real serie a game. marchionni is just a waste... this guy is capable of nothing

What's wrong with this?
He can be useful everywhere but he obviously works better behind the striker(s) than he does as a LM.
as far as i understand him he was talking about gio being neddys replacement but seeing him play as a support striker he is more dp's replacement. so nothing wrong with it just that we don't have a replacement for neddy yet

and i think he wanted to say that we don't need diego vdv or so because we have gio... but why would diego get in the way of gio? both totally different positions... that's what i wanted to say

Because Marchionni is a proven decent Serie A player, even if his form has been poor recently.

I can just imagine how critical folk would be if Juve dropped points in Serie A when playing unproven youngsters.

Also which youngsters is it you want to be given a chance and how often have you seen them play?

WHO CARES! So we shouldn't take chances on youngsters just because of a few people on a forum? What sort of bullshit is that?

For fucks sake, get an identity for yourself.

he may be proven but he is still useless... i was talkin about rossi... yet i only have seen him play in preseason and in the primavera /just highlights. so but why should we drop points just because we r playing 1 youngster when we r leading 2:0? i don't want to see amauri on the bench for a youngster i want to see a useless guy (marchionni) sitting on the bench atleast for 45 min.

No.

We shouldn't take a chance on youngsters because we should be playing as strong a team as possible in Serie A, not experimenting.

We are not the ones watching them train. We are not watching them play every week in the Primavera. I am sure that young players who impress will be givent the opportunity to succeed.

Once you are watching them in training and playing, then you can complain that they don't get a chance. Until then, you don't know if they are worthy of place in the first team squad.

Yeah, like Marchionni is worthy of a place while he pisses on our pitch every week.

Give me a f-u-c-k-i-n-g break.

If none of the young players are doing better then, yes. He is the best option at RM.

I would have played Giovinco on the right against the lesser teams.

Ranieri has a track record of given yong players a chance throughout his career. If the young players have the talent, Ranieri will give them the opportunity when the time is right.

Sure he will.

Just like this "Tinkerman" nonsense.

I think it is the pure job of the manager to win games, whether it is 3-0 or 1-0 or 2-1 or 5-4, a win is a win. Now since you are winning, I think he is doing his job. The problem is, is he playing his strongest team? That depends on your use of the word strong, do you mean it as a figure of pure strength? Because if you do, then Giovinco or as I call him, "Pinocchio" lacks the "strength" to play, as he is a small boy. But I think he is a better player than some of the others and should be given his chance in the First Team. Now if you mean strength in that situation, then I don't think he is fielding the strongest team, and won't while Marchiospiloni and Moleheadonaro still play every game.

He is not fielding the strongest teams, as in quality-wise.

And if Giovinco is too small to play, sell him ASAP and be done with it. I'm sick of that nonsense.
