there will be pressure, we need to be competitive and get back to europe, not forgetting how much attention we will get from media, what will give even more pressure.
if you read my post i said hopefully we could give him the chance to work without pressure. the pressure you mentioned is obvious pressure and doesnt even require mentioning, its apparant that at any football team there is a pressure to fall in line or improve upon objectives. My statement was meant as in job security and not over analysing every single move that he makes as took place at chelsea in his last year there.

so yes he will face pressure for results and performances but i hope he doesnt recieve pressure like he did at chelsea or like DD did here. FORZA JUVE

OMG, we did a terrible mistake here, Ranieri is a proven disaster, born loser,
not even Chelsea's money would be enough to make us a competitive team,
we are doomed, i hope we sack him at oct:smoke: :smoke: :smoke: :smoke:

I don't think Robben or Cech were signed by Ranieri and I do not believe lippi to be a disgrace but, other than that, I agree with you.
robben and cech were both signed in january before they arrived, they never played under him but he signed them, its not very well known but it is a fact :p

ask yourselves who were the options?? its not like we had a huge cue of world class managers waiting for us... LIPPI???? the man wasnt even committed enough to take over in the summer, hes a disgrace and i would also like to point our that juventus are the only club lippi has had success with, maybe claudio will follow in his footsteps....
:wth: :howler: you do know what forum you are posting in, right? :disagree:

I think he is... He had the opportunity to help our team when we most needed him, yet he refused to cut his vacation! :disagree:

fully aware, anyone who wants to take the juve job in october is disrespectful, i appreciate what he has done but his actions regarding us over the last few weeks have infuriated me, i have no loyalty to him anymore

If Secco is on his way out of the club it's maybe bicoz Elkans has quit the drugs and
understood what kind of shit he is. I don't think this could be Gigli idea.

I stand corrected in that case.

How you can call a man who has done so much for this club a disgrace is beyond me. He has won everything there is to win so, in my opinion he deserves to decide if and when he re-enters management.

juve is not only lippi`s playground, time moves on. And dont be so rude on lippi, you dont seem to realize how much pressure did he had to handle before and during world cup. He said himself after winning that he quits as NT coach cause he cant handle all that pressure.

When he speaks just few days ago, that Juve is in his heart, and then announce he won't cut his vacation...this means he doesnt care about the shit that we are in!!!

I was one of the 1st who asked for Lippi to be back on Juve bench, but to turn us down like this, is too much.

Who did you guys want really?

Lippi didn't want to join us, maybe only in October.
Nobody wants to see Capello with Juve.
Wenger could of been a possibility but he made that arsenal team and wants to win the EPL.
Mourinho would ask for 5-8m €/year, we refused Vialli because he wanted 2-3m.
Benitez is making CL finals every year.
....

For me, Ranieri is better than Novellino, Mazzarri, Del Neri, Houllier...

Let's see who we buy this mercato season and give him about 10 games, then we can judge if he's a failure or not.

If he wasn't fully motivated and in the right mental state to return, it was better that he chose to stay on holiday.

One has to wonder now if he will return to management at all now. If after being Italy coach, which is only a part time job really, he needs to take 18 months rest then perhaps he does not have the energy to be a club manager any more.

sure he deserved to choose when he comes back but asking to manage in mid october is plain disrecpectful, i dont care what he has or has not won, the size of his trophy cabinet does not allow him to be disrespectful. i wanted him here more than anyone becuase i loved the guy but when those rumours came around that was me and lippi through, thanks to him for all hes done but "hit the road jack, and dont you come back no more".

anyway my choices were:
1. Mourinho
2. Lippi
3. Prandelli
4. Trappattoni

i didnt even think about ranieri, but he'll make me regret that. Hes a class act and he'll do well for us

Did the mid-October return not have more to do with the investigation into his son rather than his holiday?

Although I'm a little bit sceptical about Ranieri coaching Juve, he's the best option of all the coaches we were linked with, except Lippi. All I hope is for a successfull era under Ranieri's managment.

Good luck Claudio! :pint:
