Juventus Coach Claudio Ranieri was jubilant after the Bianconeri's resounding victory over Genoa last night.
The Old Lady ran out 4-1 winners at the Stadio Olimpico in an entertaining battle.
“We were disciplined in every area, both as individuals and as a collective,” Ranieri enthused on Sky Sport Italia after the final whistle.
“It was necessary to honour this Genoa side because they are one of the best sides in Serie A.
“Diego Milito is a great striker and he has this amazing ability to move the ball around.
“But this is our seventh win in a row between the League and the Champions League. We are doing really well and we need to continue like this
“We started the championship well but we didn't adapt to playing every three days and we didn't manage to keep the intensity. Now though we are finally seeing the light.
“Tiago Mendes played well again. He was used to a 4-3-3 system and he needed some time to adapt to 4-4-2.
“I was happy with the chants from the crowd and I have a good rapport with the public.”
Juventus are joint leaders alongside Inter ahead of the Nerazzurri's clash with Palermo this weekend.
