Our injuries hand picked our starters for this game
and our disastrous beginning determined our players for the win and increased performance!
But CR made some pretty good and well timed subs,
probably by lack alone, as we all now that he really really sux at subbing!

What surprised me the most is the tactical use of Neddy and the lack of the second DM in our team.
Only these extreme conditions would force CR's hand to try such a thing
and i was generally pleased with the outcome, it almost seemed that we had an attacking plan for the first time in our recent history.
I doubt that CR ordered all that, but the clear roles everyone had delivered and ended our one dimensional misery!
We were able to threaten from both our flanks and the middle and despite the fact, that we need to adapt to this game-plan and we werent that efficient without the proper tools for the job,
however we forced our opponents to retreat and therefore CR never felt threatened!

This is what Ranieri said all day at training this morning

from Juventus.com

Ranieri keeps concentration level high

«I want you to always be concentrated…!» This is how Ranieri spurred on the group during this morning's training session, the penultimate one before Wednesday's midweek game at Bologna. The cure which began with Real Madrid and continued with the derby isn't over yet. Attention must be kept high, until the injury emergency lasts. The last three players in chronological order to pick up injuries, i.e. Grygera, Salihamidzic and De Ceglie, underwent physiotherapy this morning. The Val d'Aosta-native will take a little longer to recover (15 days), whereas the Czech defender and the Bosnian midfielder could already be available again in time for next Saturday's match against Roma, as could Poulsen and Tiago.

There's also good news regarding Camoranesi and Zanetti, who worked the full session today, including the training match against the Youth Team. Ranieri will decide tomorrow whether to add Camoranesi to the squad already for the Bologna game, while Zanetti has a chance to be back in time for the away game against Real Madrid in the Champions League. Tomorrow the last pre-match training session, after the Manager's press conference, shown live on Juventus Channel at 2 pm.

First word I hear of it.
He watched the match on Saturday and he attended the training session on Sunday. Some speculated that he was in Torino to follow Knezevic but it couldn't be true because Dario is injured.
Others speculate that he's #1 candidate to take over Ranieri's place.

I hope he wasn't there taking tips from the man in the thread title. :D

I would naturally love Bilic here but I really don't see how exactly would that happen, for a number of reasons.

Looks like you were right with your first sentence :( :D

I also can't see him as a Juve coach, at least until WC 2010 (if we qualify) or summer of 2009 (if we lose our chances to qualify for the WC).

P.S: The most interesting news is that (according to the Croatian website) Bilic and Secco talked not only about Knezevic but they also talked about other Croatian players.

:howler:

Oh man, he really could have picked a better mentor. :D

No way, and we will qualify 100%, even after that it's definetly England for him. I don't see him accepting a job anywhere else, not for a number of years anyway.

Vlatko was right :p. Although this part sounds interesting:

"S direktorom Juventusa Seccom je razgovarao o Dariju Kneževiću i ostalim hrvatskim reprezentativcima."

Translation: He spoke with Secco about Knezevic and the rest of the Croatian NT.

I know it probably doesn't mean anything, but maybe..:xfinger:

That sucks, I dont mind him coaching is, not because he plays good football or is well qualified (though he can be quite impressive), but because the chance of seeing Rakitic in Juve would increase ten fold :xfinger: :D
