No.. Not at all... And I really don't believe Secco has been able to learn ANYTHING from Moggi.. He is simply a failure... But Ciro Ferrara should atleast get a chance... He knows the game and the players like nobody else...!
How about we give CR chance???

Best buys out of the players we GOT...! Yeah, and I agree too...!
But those 2 players were only real cost for us!?

Melberg and Knezevic were both 1.5 million i think, others were our players

How can a Juve coach be pleased with a draw against BATE? Ranieri was!!!!!!!!!!

Let's c... Chelsea played Cluj yesterday and let me tell u that... Scolari was FAR from happy about the performance...! It's exactly this kind of character Juve needs...

While I agree with your arguments Andy I feel were not in a catastrophic situation just yet.If Ramos can still be at Tottenham then why shoulden't Ranieri still be at Juve?.
Tottenham Hotspur is potentially the biggest disaster (and joke) of a club in World football, let alone England. They wouldn't be able to win anything even if the best manager in history had to coach that team. In way are they comparable to Juventus.

Juande Ramos still blows Ranieri out of the water when it comes to success and coaching.

Just 9 days ago you were praising Ranieri for game and tactical choice..After 3 days we had another game where we could only draw.. How is possible to make some tactical changes in such a short time and prepare team, and just to mention if players like Camo, Zanetti are not fully fit, or if Momo fasting etc..
I give praise when it's due, which it was for the match where he finally started Giovinco. But apart from that, it's painfully obvious we don't have a team out there, which is Ranieri's fault full stop. When we have no chemistry out on the pitch, then a bunch of nonsensical (non-)substitutions, that is setting ourselves up for a long season.

You need to stop being a Ranieri apologist. What I've seen out there thus far has been absolutely deplorable.

I am against changing coaches during the season UNLESS THERE IS A MASSIVE CRISIS. It is rare for a team to change coaches during the season and actually win something that particular season.

That is said, in my opinion ever since Lippi left his post in 2004 noone managed to fill in his shoes. Capello came the season after and he was lucky to have a budget none of Juventus coaches in history had to buy players. The period between 2004-2006 was the time when we had A LOT of money. He had big names brought in (whether it was his choice of Moggi's), Cannavaro, Ibrahimovic, Mutu, Emerson and Vieira. The main reason behind all this was to win CL, but he failed be as competitive as people thought he might be although some have argued that we had the best squad in europe for 2 consecutive seasons. Next Came Deschamps. I was not very impressed with the way our game was going (mind you although we have lost a lot of players, we were still playing in Serie B). Our football wasn't entertaining. But we managed to get the job done. Personally, I'd thank Buffon and Del Piero for that. Last season we gave Ranieri the post. He still did not manage to fulfill Lippi's shoes BUT (leaving this season aside) with the players he had at his disposal comparing his results with Capello's I see no differences.
Capello managed to win the scudetto with the best squad in europe.
Ranieri finished 3rd although some may argue he would have finished higher and maybe have won the league if the refs were a bit fair with both Juve and Inter (Juve lost more than 18 points due to obvious controversial calls while inter gained more for the same reason)..

I guess, what I am trying to say is. Although I am not a big fan of Ranieri, lets try to leave Lippi's image on the side while we are comparing coaches.

Ranieri has major flows, some may say his worst is his negative mentality. He hasn't won anything big in his 20+ years in coaching. Lately, the team has been anything but solid. Our midfield is on vacation. I won't blame any of the forwards because they are not getting enough support from the midfield. In the past 2 games the midfield supported the attackers with three chances.
1- Sissoko to Del Piero --> Hit the post
2- Giovinco to Iaquinta --> Goal
3- Giovinco to Iaquinta --> Goal
I think our forwards are going a decent job, they just need the midfield to help them out. I was gainst buying poulsen because what we needed is a creative midfielder (which was supposed to be Tiago's job last season). But since we did not get any let's try to work with what we have till January where i really hope the management can get 1 decent creative midfielder and 1 decent CB. Until that time I think we are better off playing 3-5-2 with a formation close to this one:

------------------------------- Buffon
------- ---Grygera --------- Legro ---- Chiellini
--------------------Sissoko --- Poulsen
---Camoranesi ---- ---------------------De Ceglie
---------------------- Giovinco(Nedved)
---------- Forward ------------- Forward

In our game play, our problem is not in defense nor its in offense. IT IS THE MIDFIELD. We do not control the game. Even during the BATE game we pushed forward because BATE wanted to defend their lead then they understood that they cannot open up the game or we will score so they stayed back. Sampdoria totally owned us. For god sakes Catania gave us a good run on our field. The only two games where our midfield showed some life are the Fiorentina and Udinese games. We can get backt o 4-4-2 when Zanetti returns from injury and is ready and on form.

in relation to what Zaf posted, our board is not that foolish to replace CR after a few draws especially so early in the season. everyone keep their pants on and stop wondering who will be his replacement. we still have a long campaign in italy and in europe in which we are not out of contention in either.

Why are people mentioning Ferrara? Just because he was a great player doesn't make him a great manager, especially considering his lack of experience. Look at Guardiola in Barca. Rijkaard and Mancini were great players as well, but they are not excellent managers. If Ferrara had a decent track of managing clubs, I'd give him a chance, but as of now let him gain his managerial experience somewhere else first.

My first choices are Prandelli and Benitez, and quite frankly both of them are realistic options (at the end of the season)

I would not mind Avram Grant or Bernd Schuster either.
