Ranieri: «I'm expecting my players to play well again in Genoa»

«Against Samp, I'm expecting my players to confirm the good things they've done so far: we're on form and we must continue like this. It'll be an open game against Samp, just like it was last year».
This is how Ranieri is expecting the game against the Blucerchiati, scheduled for Saturday at the Marassi, to be. The Manager should have Camoranesi available again in Genoa, but not yet Gigi Buffon: «Camoranesi still feels a little pain, but he's available. Gigi should be training today again too. He feels ok now, but it's one thing to feel good in civilian clothes, quite another in a sport outfit. I hope I can have him back in time for Tuesday».

Camoranesi's return is great news: «Camo is one of the old guard, one of our best players, and he's crucial in our game because he comes out with unexpected passes in front of goal, even though there were many of those against Catania too. We weren't able to convert them, but the important thing is to create these chances».

Giovinco in particular stood out against Catania, playing in Nedved's role. But a player with his talent could play in other parts of the pitch too: «For the time being, he plays on the left, because it’s obvious he feels at ease there, but anything is possible. This is a lad who can still surprise us very much, so let's not pin him down as a left-wing player. Are him and Del Piero incompatible? No way, they did some great things together! In fact Bizzarri's final save came from one of their combinations!».

His skills could be needed again against Samp but Ranieri, as always, doesn't disclose anything about his chosen line-up beforehand. In any case, Juventus will be looking to win, but this mustn't become an obsession for them: «It's not that just because we drew with Catania we now have to win at all costs. We have to try, yes. Samp are having problems? We'll see after we've played against them if they're really having problems or they simply haven't gotten the results so far. It's like with AC Milan: everybody was saying they were having problems, when in fact they were creating six or seven clear goal-scoring chances every match. As soon as they started scoring, the situation changed».

Good interview by Ranieri. He seems determined in giving Giovinco more chances which is very inspiring. He also realises that we must have a creative player(s) on the field to be able to create goalscoring chances. Although it seems to me he is not very determined to win in Genova but I could be wrong on that.

I would prefer Camo doesn't play if he still feels pain. No point in risking him since we can deploy Giovinco in that case, he is also able to gives us that neccesary idea. I wonder if he will rest Amauri?

Yeah Camo is priceless- if he is not fully fit, he should be rested.

Giovinco could slide over and Nedved could handle the left.

I love Ranieri interviews: he says everything and nothing at the same time.

Good interview by Ranieri.

However its very likely that he will leave us very soon, as rumors are already mounting that he signed pre contract with another Italian firm.

I went to one special supermarket today, and look what i found.
So rumors are true..

Im sad now..

FORZA RANIERI

NOT!

This is sad...he didn't want to win!We already started losing too many points and Inter is leaving us behind.

Ranieri is not a winner and we don't need him here...He belongs to Parma.
