This surely doesn't belong here in this threat ; I wanted to order tiagos jersey from juve store and he's not even mentioned on the list of player :S. Anyhow, i was wondering If im able to buy juve jerseys from previous seasons?

you can always personalize it on Juve store to have "30" and "Tiago". Also, I'd wait a bit. Once the official numbers are all out, I bet Juve store will have the option to buy every player's shirt. I think that's how it's been in the past.

that seems to be the common sentiment among all juve fans. just to prove others wrong and for him to get some confidence - we've never wanted someone to succeed more than tiago

....except of course for alex when crapello was around

So true on all counts. I sort of feel bad for Tiago, yet I'm so frustrated at the same time. All that money on him, and nothing to show for it!! I'm really rooting for him, but yeah, not more than I did for Alex during those dark, dreary Capello days. I hated watching the team play during that time.

On a side note, this new trend of inventing ridiculous quotes by CR is rather mean. Funny, though. Poor CR, he likes his metaphors too much.

Yes, because playing for Chelsea, Lyon, Juventus and the Portuguese national team truly seems the career of someone who couldn't cut it as a professional football player.
Seeing him succeed here would bring such a joy to me, never in my life have I felt the need to prove people wrong about a soccer player than with tiago.
Meh, don't bother guys. We know Tiago is a capable player but some people just don't care about that even if the player fails despite him only playing a handful of matches. Every other explanation for his poor performances is disregarded and the brainiacs at Football Italia succeed in attaining 99% of Serie A fans to believe Tiago is a flop, even in November. I hope we sell him to another club so these "brainics" can stop insulting the player's intelligence.

Yes and no. It is true that the media attacks on Tiago began before even the season started, when Almiron and Zanetti were our first choice in midfield, the media started using the word "flop" when talking about Tiago. After that, he got some playing time but unfortunately he didn't prove anybody wrong, he performed decently in some matches (I think his best match was against Napoli in Turin not against Reggina). Although I formed a fond liking to the player during last season, I'm afraid giving him another chance will be at the expense of our team. We'll see what happens anyways

Yeah, yeah, funny. You said he only played a handful of games. Now you're saying how much he started. Say what you mean so it doesm't look like you're backtracking.
He did only play a handful of matches. You like to make it seem like he played 20 full matches, when the majority he came on as a late sub once the game was practically over. Starting six matches and coming in as a sub in the rest does not amount to 20 matches, Craka.

So yeah, like I said, mathematics doesn't suit you. ;)

Let's give Tiago the next whole season as a big chance to adapt and blend in our team and Italian football, and actually that's what Ranieri did, as he didnt get a decent player in his position, so he's not facing a real competition, so if he loses his place to the teenager Ekdal or Poulsen, can we PPPLLLLEEEAASSSEE agree to call him a flop :D ??

that's not what i meant. i'm just saying that Tiago doesn't have a place in the side to lose, unless of course you mean his place on the bench or in the stands.

I wasn't referring to your post :). And I'm an avid tiago supporter so I dont agree with you, but to each his own opinion, you seem reasonable enough, so I respect and actually enjoy reading some of your posts.

I think a poll would be great in terms of team formation, maybe its been done before or already but like id love people to vote on a poll based on team formation. In order to see if people would prefer 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 or 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-2-1 etc etc for Juve this season. Anyone else think this would be a good idea?
