Ranieri Unsure Of Juventus Future

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri claims he maybe not be on the bench of Bianconeri.

The former Chelsea coach is preparing his side for their return to the Champions League following a two year absence, but he may not lead the team to glory as he has revealed that he may not be in charge in the future.

“I am not sure, we have to wait and see if I will be here next term,” Ranieri told Tuttosport.

Of course, he himself took over in strange circumstances after Didier Deschamps was unceremoniously dumped days after guiding the team back into Serie A.

Ranieri also gave his opinion on the transfer situation, and he believes that he will only be able to analyse the [success or failure of] transfers at the end of the season.

“I am happy with my team and we will see how we have done with the transfers at the end of season,” said the former Chelsea and Valencia boss.

Juve are continuing their preparations for the preliminaries to qualify for the Champions League.

i swear goal.com just makes stuff up
omg, i said this to a friend yesterday, after ranieri gave an interview. In fact, here's how it was: they were talking about the team and how everything will go once del piero resigns and so on, and the interviewer keeps asking these stupid questions about next year, and the oncoming years, so ranieri says, with a smile clearly on his face: "who knows if i'm here next year". It was a joke for fuck's sake. These goal.com-retards are getting on my nerves really. I said it to a friend yesterday "i bet tomorrow goal.com will write about ranieri getting sacked", and there you go. They're ridiculous.

Ranieri is apparently set to try out new systems in the upcoming friendlies. Besides the 4-4-2 (which relies on Nedved), Ranieri will try a diamond midfield (Camo as trequartista?), a christmas tree and a 4-3-3, with a Camo-Sissoko-Poulsen midfield behind Amauri/Iaquinta and Del Piero in support of Trezeguet.

I saw that too...@ Football transfer market

Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri will continue using mainly the 4-4-2 system, but he is considering trying three other systems in the upcoming friendly games scheduled in the next few days and in August.

He wants to try 4-3-1-2, 4-3-2-1 and 4-3-3. The most interesting seems to be the 4-3-3 system, where Ranieri could utilize Sissoko-Camoranesi-Poulsen in midfield with Iaquinta (or Amauri) and Del Piero playing as wide forwards near Trezeguet. This system would feature Camoranesi in central midfield, something Ranieri already tried a few times last season. Juve's next scheduled friendly matches are against Broendby on Wednesday, than the TIM Trophy Tournament matches in Dortmund and a tour of England in early August.

Yeah, La stampa added some more to it. The switching from formations, has to do with Nedved mostly. With the current absence of Giovinco and Nedved missing the first preliminary, Ranieri has to considers different options. Noone covers Nedved's role as well as he does (Salihamidzic and Marchionni for example cant direct play like he does) and so he has to switch formations basically. Also because we probably cant count on Nedved twice a week for the coming season.

both are good, but 1st one is more solid and promising. 2-3 weeks ago CR said that he would love to get Stankovic as he can play him in various positions and easily change tactics.
I believe we are still interested and looking to loan him for next season..

Yeah both of those formations are good. If we get Stankovic I think it will be very good. If we dont then We have Nedved for 442 and we can give Giovinco his shot in a 442 or as trequartista behind Trez and Amauri in the 433 maybe.

Either way it is good to see Ranieri testing formations.

Ranieri: «It was important to give minutes to everyone»
Juventus' summer European adventure began with a win this year. The Bianconeri defeated Brondby and will now start preparing their next engagements, which on paper look tougher, as they'll be facing prestigious teams such as Borussia Dortmund, Hamburg, Arsenal and Manchester United.

Before facing the next friendlies and, most of all, the Champions League preliminary round, Claudio Ranieri can enjoy his victory on Danish soil for now: «It's nice to win and it boosts morale. At this stage it's important to accumulate minutes on the pitch and finding our rhythm; we were facing fitter opponents, they've already begun their League and the UEFA Cup. The lads loosened up after a few minutes and they did well. I already noted some positive things; they'll need to be confirmed in the next few games. I count on making Camoranesi and Del Piero play for a few minutes too already on Saturday, against Borussia Dortmund, who played the German Super Cup final today».

positive things?? Ekdal?

Good to hear that Camo and DP would play on saturday too

Yep would be a very good move imo.
in current circumstances and with our board, it would be a very good move.
well go on and tell that to the people who started petitions against stankovic, and who put up banners in vinovo... I know that the situation has changed now, and that everyone was waiting for xabi or someone, but still. Stankovic would have been a good reinforcement, no matter what happened. I doubt he'll come now, except maybe on a loan-deal what would be amazing.
