Ranieri doubts Dinho effect Saturday 19 July, 2008

Claudio Ranieri brushed off the Ronaldinho effect and criticism of Juve’s transfer policy. “Only results will tell us who has improved the most.”
Milan are making the Scudetto a priority and enthusiasm is sky high after the arrival of Ronaldinho, while Inter hope to make it four on the trot with Amantino Mancini and possibly Frank Lampard coming in.
“I understand that for the next three months you’ll all be asking me the same question, but we are happy like this,” snapped Ranieri when questioned on whether Juventus would be signing more reinforcements.
“People forget the quality we have in this squad. Who is stronger between Juve, Milan and Inter? The results will speak for themselves at the end of the season.”
Bianconeri supporters have been vocal in their disappointment at the transfer activity this summer with Amauri, Olof Mellberg and the controversial Christian Poulsen not firing up their enthusiasm.
General manager Jean-Claude Blanc confirmed the club would not be buying any more new players, but the newspapers continue to speculate over bids for Xabi Alonso and Dejan Stankovic.
Before snapping up these figures, Juve first wish to thin out the squad with three players awaiting offers.
Tiago Mendes was a disastrous flop last term and is of interest to both Monaco and Atletico Madrid, but they only want him on loan.
Having spent £9m 12 months ago, the club is eager to make a permanent sale for at least £7m.
Sergio Almiron was another disappointing signing and is in negotiations with both Fiorentina and Sampdoria.
The Blucerchiati are favourites, as they could offer full-back Hugo Campagnaro as part of the deal.
This in turn would free up Jonathan Zebina to make his move to the Premier League.

"We are happy like this"????????????
who's the fuck is "we"?? Inter fans or Milan fans???
He didn't even say "we're strong like this" or "we're creative like this" or "we can win the scudetto like this"..............NO we're just happy like a poor kid taken by Uncle Poulsen to the Candy store
Now who's stronger between Juve , Milan and inter .........lets see:
Position--------------Juve------------- Milan----------------Inter
GK-------------------Buffon-------------X-------------------- X
RB-------------------Grygera----------Zambro-------------Maicon
LB--------------------Molianro---------(any one-legged LB is better)
CB-------------------Chiellini-----------Maldini-------------Matrix/Chivu
CB-------------------Legro/Mellberg-----Nesta---------------Cordoba
DM-------------------Sissoko----------Gattuso/Flamini-----Vieria
DM/CM---------------Poulsen-----------Pirlo-----------------Cambiasso
-----------------------Camo----------Kaka/Seedorf---------Figo/Stankovic
-----------------------Nedved------Ronaldinho/Seedorf-----Jimenez/Mancini
SS--------------------DP----------------Pato/Kaka-----------Ibra
CF--------------------Trez--------------Inzaghi---------------Cruz(Eto'o??)
Before anybody starts bashing, I know it's a silly comparison, teams' strength can't be measured like that, and maybe some players' positions and roles aren't the same, but by comparing the possible starting 11, it seems that we definitely have the best GK while some may argue about Chiellini, Sissoko and DP are better than their rivals, and that's it
IMO Milan's got the strongest attack while Inter's overall team (including subs )is the strongest, plus they have Mourinho, and both teams can get stronger by signing other players while we may get weaker by selling our players as we wont sign any
so if Ranieri thinks we're way stronger than our rivals that we wont even consider signing other players then god help us
