IF we have agreed terms and are willing to offer him approx 4 million euro per season (highly unlikely in my opinion), one could assume that he would be the main striker, as in Trez's replacement.

Does anyone really believe they would give him that wage and expect him to be back up to our main striker? Whether that is trez, klose, toni etc...?

In addition, i really hope the club doesn't think he is the player to replace trez. IMO he would only be good enough for back up at the club.
Of course, 4M euro per annum is a huge salary for Pizarro, but up till now, I haven't read such a number on any site except here on the forums. And if we suppose that he asked for such a salary, Secco wouldn't accept more than 3M euro on the maximum.

Regarding the main striker to partner Del Piero in the upcoming season, in my opinion it would be Toni or Klose, we are already negotiating them besides Trezeguet wants to leave. And if Deschamps remains our coach, Bojinov will return to Fiorentina. Hence, I think that Pizarro will replace Bojinov. If all this happens, so our front line will be consisting of Del Piero, Toni or Klose, Pizarro, Palladino, Zalayeta or anyone else (maybe even Bojinov if we sell Zalayeta)

At the end, all of these rumours are just predictions of the media followed by suggestions from us; the fans.

thinking about it logically, del piero, palladino, klose/toni, and pizzaro is a good set of strikers provided the club buys a playmaker. I dont think we would need a 5th forward if we were only playing in serie A and coppa italia.

Our main objective hsould be to keep Trez Imo, because he such a class player and bringing Klose or Toni, Pizzaro, would take them time to settle and also Trez is deadly at finishing..

trez lacks the motivation to play for us...he wasted too many chances in recent matches

I think that this set of attackers would succeed in the domestic competitions as well and even in Europe provided that they're well supplied. I support the idea of buying a classic playmaker or strengthening our wings plus adding the required balance for the centre midfield by capturing a world class midfielder to partner Zanetti.

Mate, Trezeguet wants to leave and it isn't our objective to convince any player to fight for our symbol. We've been in talks with him regarding his contract since the last summer. If he wants to jump out of the ship, he is free, but please don't forget that our priority is our dignity.

Pizarro won't replace Trezeguet but he'll replace Bojinove most probably. Either Toni or Klose would adapt quickly, it isn't that big issue.

This is very apparent and most people think that he may become motivated again when we return to Serie A, a thing that I really find laughable. As a player like Nedved plays for the whole 90 mins unstoppable and fights for us to return to our normal place and another fragile one who thinks that he ruined his career for playing in Serie B. In fact, he is the one who makes his decision but he has to patient, 3 or more months and he'll join any team he wants.

We don´t need Pizzaro, he is way beyond Trezeguet. If we need a class striker, Pizzaro is not a good choice even if he is for free. I prefer Klose, Gilardino or Amauri.

Actually, he played a big game against Real, was a way better than both Poldi and Makaay. He was dangerous around the box and made a great chance+ a header on the post. Was class. He would be a good support from the bench to Trez

Pizarro, for being a second choice striker, will suit our playing style so much. Most probably, he'll be a substitute to either Toni or Klose. Gilardino won't join us and we're not negotiating Amauri up till now. Hence, I think it is much healthier to stick to the transfers that may take place in the near future.

Exactly, except for the chance that he missed directly in front of the goal. :pint:

this all "i'll wait to see if juve buy some players" attitude is fuckin wrong.
trez n' camo can leave...they arn't motivated to wear our shirt.
Certainly, I prefer a motivated half skilled footballer to an unmotivated world class one. Thus, if our boards of directors discover that any player, whoever this player is, doesn't have faith in the club's future project, it would be very wise to let him go.

Claudio Pizarro would be a great backup to Trezeguet. Afterall he would be for free and seeing how our forwards have injury tendencies we could use another decent striker such as him. He's not that bad FFS.

But I think he will be too expencive 4 sub...
He already takes large wages at Bayern, and he won't decrease his demands jus 4 Juve, I doubt.

why do people want Gilardino?

He's like a poor man's Inzaghi. Doesn't even have half the skill of the veteran. Plus he dives like a total pussy.
