Its a shame he is not trusted anymore. He is our only home grown player in our squad. Losing Marchisio means having 1 less player on the CL list.
Add to that our usual abysmal injury record, we could see some issues in the CL...

Because of that HQ player issue and losing a player on the squad, I really don't think Marchisio will leave. Seems like an unintended planning problem that Juve wouldn't make or shoot themselves in the foot.

he hasnt been useful for 2 years

le'ts be real. if this was any other player in squad, he would be labeled a free loader.

but he gets a pass? naah. let him go

Exactly, he's been done and useless for almost two years now and it's not like we are pushing him out. It's sad to see him rotting on the bench and it would be selfish to keep him so he can end his career behind the likes of sturaro and bentancur and basically every other mid we have.

Lots of love to Claudio and I'm sure he wants to move on as well, wish him nothing but the best of luck.

Literally no upside to getting rid of him. Don't even get an extra roster spot.
He's on a big wage. Besides, if he wants to leave we should let him go for free. He's been loyal and a true Juventino. It's not his fault he got injured and he tried to get back into the the first team but clearly Allegri doesn't want him. If we let a scummy piece of shit like Alves go just because he wanted we should definitely let Claudio go.
