Maybe, but he can hold the ball and has more creativity than Marchisio, plus he can take on players and shots from distance unlike our casper. I'm pretty sure he'd do well behind strikers if he's given some time there.

Actually better to put Marchisio who will help the team in attacking and defending rather than Bonucci who can't let pass any opportunity to screw our chances over in Europe.

Marchisio is not made to be an AM though. The best would be to get some flashy player who actually presents an offensive threat and drags out defenders with his movements and has an eye for a goal.

I'm gonna be pissed if we see Marchisio as an AMC or as a winger.

However we've seen plenty of times that Pirlo is cappable of covering the spot despite his age. Actually, it was him who gave us many victories, even against big teams.

Seeing Pirlo benched doesn't make much sense, unless it just some matches where he gets terrorized in the middle.
