That is not a trust, he just raises his knee to protect himself and block the player. If he trusted, that knee would have been snapped

Did you see how the ref refused to see the bitemarks ?

If i was Buffon, i'd take chiellini to the sideline, to a camera and microphone section, and shout to the world the ref refuses to see it.
Then go to the goalline ref or the 4th ref and repeat

Then take my team off the field as a protest

thats coz he missed the knee, thankfully. You are beyond redeemable on this subject as far as objectivity goes.

It's really hard to tell. But I don't think anyone can rightly complain.

I freaking despise Suarez. They need to ban his ass from this sport.

he missed it cause it was not intentional.

I have seen many intentional fouls, my country has a shitty league where this also happens from time to time. It has a name "dangerous play"

Foul without contact
Yellow with contact
Red if deliberatly done to hurt

They need to ban this referee who refused to watch the bite marks
AND suarez was on the ground, so they had to know who did it.

i need an explanation from guys who said that it's straight red card or close call:
Why this is not red card then? he could have broken his neck, yet it's a yellow
Next episode Cavani vs. Verratti - Marco already was without the ball, yet Cavani turned on his bull mode and ran at full speed in Marco's right leg and inflicted injury to him - not even yellow

I guess you are all nothing but stupid biased haters of squadra azzurra, nothing more, nothing less
Marchisio was not even looking on the player, his move was by inertia because he was with the ball and referee have seen it and Claudio even stopped his leg to prevent ugly tackle

yes coz chiellini never cried wolf, how many times did he fake injury/dive in this game alone? you guys are being ridiculous, fact is hes one of the dirtiest players, fine i get it it comes with the territory, but if i was a ref i too wouldnt give his complaints much credence.

Still you feel it's unjust when a player gets away with biting while the other gets a harsh red AND both decisions affect the final result.

Also, not seeing that incident is only adding to the ref's incompetency.

oh come on :D

If Marchisio didnt retract his leg, it would have been worse

So kids, next time you got a idiot kebab referee, just kill the opponent, there is no yellow card

Even with those marks on his shoulder?

And yeah, there's something very wrong when a player bites and remains in the game.

ok so marks are there but none of the referees saw it, they should still sanction the player based on chiellini's word? come on you know thats bs. It was unlucky for italy that their red card offense happened in front of the ref, while uruguays didnt, or maybe uruguay is just better at ebing a dirty team :D

What really made me furious was Suarez holding his fucking teeth like he was in some pain. Wtf was that about? Did he want to get sympathy because "Oh no I hurt my fragile little teeth while fucking biting my opponent"?

Fuck this guy.

Pity he's playing such awesome football.
