"He should do less"
It is offcourse not a surprise what happens here. People calling Marchisio crap, whilst i point at his positives in an objective way.
Now something interesting happened, and instead of even trying to figure out the situation, the peasants and bandwagons like Dule90 who have no intelligence whatsoever and raped their way into moderation, they decide to mock the messenger instead, not seeing what he said, not wanting to understand.

When pirlo was on, marchisio and vidal were more advanced. allready claudio was getting noticed whilst vidal was decent but not very aggressive. Then the douchebag cunt kicks pirlo off and on comes pogba.

Now at that moment, i expected conte to understand Pogba is not effective as a regista, so that marchisio would hold the midfield and pogba and vidal are allowed many offensive runs and pressing games. effectively putting vidal close to the box, recuperating balls there, same with pogba who could win headers off deflections there or simply chip in another of those amazing lobbed passes to llorente.

However, Conte decided to have none of that, and instead allowed that ramdomly 1 player stayd deeper and the other two could move up. This makes sense as its difficult to mark, but the problem was that they were making a mess of it. Pogba lost more then one ball at a dribble far to deep on the field, whilst marchisio worked hard, but isnt as good at making interceptions like vidal and pogba.

So whilst marchisio obviously was the most intense, what i'd wanted is him to stay deeper, and push pogba and vidal forward.

However, they kept sucking, so Conte did the smart move (should have done this when pirlo went off tbh) and switched 4312.

I said many times this allowes the cm's to drift out, one at a time and chip in crosses. However i kinda expected it from pogba.
When we were trowing everything forward, marchisio was the one that went wide, and his cross in the end led to a goal.

So now, because none of you will ever consider reading this wall of text, you can go on mocking something you misunderstood :)

Can debate whether Juve would have been more dangerous going forward, but I bet Juve wouldn't have looked so susceptible to counter-attacks if they had kept Marchsio deeper.

He was good 10 first minutes but then nothing happened. Honestly, if Pirlo is gone I want to see Asamoah in the middle.
I thought second half he was one of the better performers and his calmer play helped in building attacks during that final 'onslaught', he was linking up with Tevez and a few others well.

Overall good game.

If someone could gif that control he did in the penalty area before he set up Tevez, that would be great.

Not a single goal or assist this season, he spent almost 1000 minutes on the pitch.

With Pirlo missing he really needs to step up now.
