Wasn't aware he was injured.
I'm just curious so, as to who will be left out when he is back?

Or will he play off of Tevez, in the 3-6 -1?
He will switch places with Pogba once he is fully fit. He is still our starter, but taking in consideration the force that Poga is becoming.... this season could very well be a transition one for Marchisio. But also theres is the ageing pirlo subject.... IMO we will see the 3 of Vidal, pogba and marchisio playing together when Pirlo leaves Juventus.

But from now on, Pogba and Claudio will share that spot. The season is long anyways so both of them will be needed.

well in my mind marchisio is still the starter and to say it really pogba won't have a problem finding space really , even with marchisio healthy . Considering that he is the first sub of all 3 our midfielders gives him the posibility to play a ton of matches , specially when CL starts and MVP will need rotation . I am pretty sure he will get the same match count as our three starters .

Who would you play against Madrid if both players fit? I'd play Pogba for tactical reasons... Being LCM, he's gonna help Asamoah more when defending against Bale, and i think his size and athletic abilities make him a better defender against Bale type players...

I'd be so tempted to drop Pirlo, especially for the away game.
i think it would be the best solution.. We will probably defending more and we need good phisycal players who can close the spaces, and Pogba being in front of the defense would give us much more safety, especially considering how fast Isco, Bale, Ronaldo are..

I agree, his negatives would probably outweigh the positives in that situation though I guess it depends on how they setup for CL.

If only we got Radja...

Buffon
Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini
Nainggolan
Lichtsteiner-Vidal-Pogba-Marchisio-Asamoah
Tevez

Pretty much the first thing I thought when the draw was made was I hope we don't play 3-5-2 with Pirlo away to Madrid. I can't see anything but a Madrid win coming from that.
It can be okay if Juve play 5-3-2 and just sit very deep.

Wouldn't play 3-5-2 and actually try to take Real on.

why? we need someone who can launch long ball kick counter attacks and can hold the ball until vidal and tevez march forward.
If Pirlo was actually going to manage to do that it'd be fine.

I'd be concerned about another game like the one in Munich where Pirlo doesn't have a positive influence when Juve are in possession and so all he provides id a defensive weakness.

Anyway, I don't know if I would actually drop Pirlo in the end. It was just my first thought on seeing the Marchisio v Pogba question posed with regards to the Real Madrid games.

i'd want pogba further up the pitch pressing alonso and/or modric.

it's important i think to make madrid resort to playing aerial balls. i dont want them playing it to feet of bale and ronaldo

I think there's every chance Tevez would be asked to harrass the deepest of Real's midfielders, so that Juve can keep their midfield in shape.

Unless, of course, Juve play all four midfielders and Tevez as the lone striker, in which case it'd be up to Marchisio.

well, alot will depend on on how fit or in form marchisio is by the time madrid game comes.

i fancy a midfield of vidal-pogba-asa with peluso on wings.
