marchisio is still far better tactically and defensivelty and better overall then pogba

Most important, a youngster shouldnt have the pressure of a starting place, he should be the first to come in and grab plenty of experience

so we need marchisio, as he's better for at least another year, but keeps pressure of pogs

So selling modest player who excels at nothing but is rather average at most of the things he does is a signal of our lack of ambitions?

Talking about Tachinardi well that's an underrated player, certainly not Marchisio.
Sorry for late reply.

Let's agree to disagree then. Just because Conte tried him as SS/AM behind Vucinic (and failed there) it doesn't mean he's average. He's got great work rate, decent passing (assist to Quag vs Chelsea), technique and scores important goals (not too often but still - Celtic for example). Sorry but it's laughable you call him average while you still wear pink glasses when it comes to Matri.

Am I really!? I don't believe I ever said Matri is anything more than a good backup.

The guy is completely right. The best way to fuck over a youngsters progression is dropping him far to soon in the starter XI and getting all the pressure and responsibilities, unable to focus on his own game.

Its best to have him on the bench, getting playtime without pressure so he can focus on himself.

For how long will Pogba accept bench role? He became world champion and DD is seriously counting on him. One of the finest talents lately and to develop further he needs more playing time. We can disagree about his role but one thing is certain, Conte will use him more than last term. Let's hope he makes the best out of it.

yeh but not to the point of Giovinco, who never got a real chance that could have changed him to a better version of what he is today.

And to a lesser extend, Marrone , who is lacking playing time and is in a good age to start playing constantly.
